THE GOOD:
Woohaaa! My own songs on my PS2?!?

THE BAD:
Insanely difficult! Why? Well, IF you want to create a riff from scratch you will have to use at least 2-3 channels (for the same instrument!), or else the program doesnīt catch up.

SUMMARY:
Sometimes the program will crash everytime at the same place. Why? Because you deleted a block of music! But I got around it by nullify the volume (on a particular riff).

If you desperately want to create music, your band has split and you were the one who wrote the killersongs but never had a dollar for the gear... (Then you would be me;)

THEN GET THIS ONE NOW!!!!
(You wonīt get help from anyone else, and if you do it will cost you bigtime)

I got this program for 20 bucks. I got decent piano, strings, drums (what a drummachine!) and I managed to find a nice distorted guitar. The base sounds normal, but that depends on which base you choose.

Some of these instruments are more than enough to compose simple popsongs from, but it will take huge amounts of time.
If youīre not a dedicated musicmaker you should see this product as a very irritating toy. Making songs by "stealing" other peoples canned riffs isnīt a very good idea if you want to make it as a popstar.

It may sound like there are many problems with MG2, but I havenīt been as excited before in my whole music recording life.

Money saved: 300> (portable tape studio)
200> (drum machine)
