THE BAD:
Fielding and lack of modes.
SUMMARY:
MLB Slugfest is basically your NFL Blitz come into Baseball. However, this game is finds the almost perfect mix of Arcade and a little sim. While Blitz was almost too arcadish for its own good. The season mode in this game is a welcome addition but it is still a far cry from other Baseball Franchise and Season modes in today's games. However, the game itself is a blast. The gameply is fast, fun, and furious. The player models and fields are great looking. The announcers are abosolutely hilarious and the animations are wonderful. This game is a blast for any casual fan of baseball. Hardcore fans may want to rent before buy however.
