THE GOOD:
-Customization
-Cars
-Intelligent A.I.
-Graphics
-Gameplay
-Cutscenes
-Load Speed is Awesome for PS2
-Online Mode is Better than NFSU2
-Mostly Better than NFSU2 in Every Which Way, the Customization, the Cars, the... EVERYTHING!
-And at Least there's Cops, Although Very Annoying
-Controls, Very Easy to Handle the Car

THE BAD:
-Cops very annoying
-Nothing else is bad

SUMMARY:
This game is by far the best racer I've played on PlayStation 2, it's just like the originals, with customization and the variety of cars that are actually LICENSED, YAY!(Instead of cheap clones like before) You should really get it, if you have NFSU2, trade it in for DUB Edition, I did and look at me, I've never been happier. A must-have for any gamer, even those who don't like racing will like this one, my friend hates racing games tried a race in career mode and didn't give it back for 2 weeks until he beat it. LoL.

PS2  Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition 4.7

THE GOOD:
-Over 60 Cars/Trucks/SUVs/Motorcycles
-Indepth Car Customizations
-Three Cities, Atlanta, San Diego, and Detriot
-Special DUB Edition cars
-Different sized rims ranging from 16 inches to 28 inches.
-Arcade Mode
-Weather Changes

THE BAD:
-Loading time is a little too long at some points
-Some cars can be very expensive

SUMMARY:
Overall Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition is a great game. Loading time could be improved, but it's not too long. Definitely better than NFSU2. When you're not racing you can just ride around the city and search for the 12 Rockstar logo's. This game gives you the freedom to do just about anything you want in-game. You have six cars to choose from in the beginning, Dodge Neon SRT4, Mitsubishi Eclipse, VolksWagon Jetta and Golf, '64 Chevrolet Impala, and '78 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. All are great starting cars and get you interested in the game.

PS2  Get the 28-Inch Rims, foo! 4.9

THE GOOD:
  • 28 Inch Rims - Crush other cars in your way, you're the king of street racing!
  • Over 60 absolutely stunning cars from real-life companies such as Dodge, Chevorlet, Lexus, Toyota, Aprilla, Cadillac, Lambourghini, Saleen, Chrysler and many more.
  • Those glorious cars include street-racing Tuners, Sports-Bikes, Choppers, Luxury Sedans, Exotics, SUV's and Trucks. Notables include the Murcialago, Viper, Corvette Z06, 1968 and 1981 Camaros, ME 412, Escalade and Escalade EXT, Cien, IS300, S7, Sixteen, there are many more cars and bikes.
  • Three gorgeous cities in which to do your racing. Detroit, Michigan. Atlanta, Georgia and San Diego, California. All three have landmarks, appropiate weather and pedestrians, and of course, plenty of big air and secret alleyway opportunities.
  • Career Mode is easily the best of all three Midnight Clubs to date. Hands-down, it rules. There are new mechanics this time around. Tournaments, Club Races and the usual Career races are the types in DUB Edition, and each have their own unique qualifications. Club Races are specific. They only want one type of a certain vehicle, tournaments ask for the best time, you win a car, and career races are the same from the other two games. The game is extremely helpful in this department, the map is redesigned and shows the player every single event that is availible to do. The Navigation System that is used when pressing Select during Career Cruise tracks races in all three citites. You'lll never become confused as to what to do.
  • Three new skills you have. Zone, Aggro and Roar, all with their unique advantages. Very useful indeed.
  • To advance through career, you're going to need cars. Okay, got my car. But is's so drabby. Customization in DUB is legendary. You can change everything from the performance of your vehicle, to the color of your vehicle, using styles such as Pearlescente, Metallic, Gloss, you may pick any color known to man. You can alter Window Tints, Headlights, Tailights, Tires and their sizes, there are at least 30 different sets of rims you can use. Some are plain and cheap, others are truly bling and spin by themselves. Hoods, Backends, even Vinyls and Decals can be altered to a player's exact taste. And on top of that, to add that cherry on top of the sundae, all license plates from all 50 states are in the game. Even better, you can customize the plate to your own words and numbers. Absolutely incredible.
  • Adding the sweet sauce. Music is unbelievable. The soundtrack included virtually all kind of trendy music today. You'll see Hip-Hop and R & B, Techno, Rock, Alternative by artists such as The Game & 50 Cent, Petey Pablo, Sean Paul just to name a few.
  • This game has online play! Race your friends over the INTRAWEB!
  • Arcade Mode has several different, fun minigames to try.

    THE BAD:

  • Arcade Mode doesn't have unlockables. This hurts the balance of the game.
  • Opponents do not talk trash like they did in the other two games. The game suffers from that as well, it was a classic feature.
  • The environments can sometimes be a bit too drab for my taste. It does preserve the image of gritty world of street racing, however.

    SUMMARY:
I am an avid Midnight Club Series fan, and have played and beaten the other two, recently finishing up this one as well. I can honestly say that Midnight Club has rightfully YANKED control of the Street Racing Genre from Need for Speed Underground and re-established itself as the KING of the mountain once again. Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition needs to be played to be believed, to put it bluntly. Rockstar San Diego really need to give themsleves a pat on the back on such a well-done game. Where shall I begin? - My entire career should do.

I started in San Diego, got a message from the garage owner. I had to buy a car - and quick. My decision came on the Dodge Neo SRT4, and I quickly changed colors and saw what I could do to modify it. Blown away, right there. I spent nearly an hour just experimenting with different things. There are countless, infinite number of ways you can make your car uniquely you. So I did, and I was happy, with a New York License Plate that read my last name. I reported to my very first race, and I won. Racing never gets old, no matter how you do it. But it was extrmely different this time around. The graphics reflected your speed so well, I notice. Lights blur, other cars's headlights and horns become faded, the camera changes and shakes. What a ride. As I progressed and earned more money and parts, my ride had gone from a regular car, not different from what you see on the road into a street-racing warrior, armed with the latest armaments. What makes this game so addicting, even when career gets a bit slow, is the fact that you can have an army of these warriors, all under your spell. The power you have over these cars, from how they run to how fast they go to how their appearance reflects you, it's simply unbelievable.

Approaching the end of Career Mode here, a huge fast-foward. I have, by this point won tournaments unlocking unbelievable, premade warriors. I have just unlocked sports cars, but still ride my Mercedes sedan, which still can beat exotics. I win a tournament, unlocking the first one, Cadillac Cien. Takes the game to a whole new level. Modifying Sports Cars is incredibly fun, because so many styles work, and so many don't. I have unlocked all three power-up moves, though on different cars. I later win the Murcialago, and the ME-412, and after wrapping up the Club races, reach 100%. I reflect and say, now that, was an excellent game.

Do yourself a favor, if you even remotely like automobiles, get it. The difficulty curve might be a little steep at first, but keep trying and you'll succeed. - bri 5/05

    -Graphics
    -Music
    -Customization
    -Car Damage
    -Races
    -Special Skills
    -Cops

    THE BAD:
    -Cops a pain sometimes

    SUMMARY:
Midnight Club 3 DUB Edition, is by far one of the best in the series. Unlike other Midnight Club's you are able to customize your car, take car damage, unlock special skill's for you car, participate in race's on your vehicle type, & you get to escape the fed's in some races. Apart from the new features the graphics have been greatly improved, & Midnight Club 3 DUB Edition has a huge soundtrack including some good rap music. Also you can choose what you want do in your career, such as race other racer's or participate in optional race's to make money so you can customize your car. But overall It's a very good game & I suggest you try it out.

    THE BAD:
Great cars but maybe a little more variety.Well I wish there was a couple more cities. But hey I think they pretty much squeezed all they could out of the PS2.
