"You have unlocked the Bunker Buster bomb". Hmm, this sounds interesting. Arming myself with my new found explosive, I take aim at a large sky scraper. Hesitantly, I give the o.k for the air strike to be called in. Within seconds, it meets it's target. I am greeted by a pathetic explosion. "Is that it!?" I scream in anger. Just as I am about to throw my controller to the ground in anger, it happens. A small bubble forms at the explosion, dragging everything into it. Boxes, people, benches, nothing is spared! Then, without warning EVERYTHING in the nearby vicinity is decimated in a huge shock wave. Buildings collapse to the ground in a heap of rubble, boxes are thrown miles across the land scape as my character falls to the floor in self defence. After the initial explosion subsides, I stand up and take a look around at the destruction have caused. "Not bad!" I think to myself. This my friends, is the joy of Mercenaries.

THE BAD: - Gameplay is somewhat repetative. - Huge amount of loading time. - You cannot swim but yet your in the military. - Air gets foggy when you go up to high in the air.
SUMMARY: The great graphics are awesome and you can choose what side to work for such as the Russian Mafia, China, South Korea, and Allies. I recommend this game because it was an actual shooting game I liked. Not recommended to people who toss the controller when they die or pansies.

SUMMARY: Ok, so this game is literaly GTA with a military style. You can go anywhere you can go, hijack vechiles and you take on missions from different people (well, factions). Your able to go all over without having the game loading a different area for you to go in like GTA:III and VC. The gameplay is awesome. If you love war games this is the game for you.
