THE GOOD:Gameplay, graphics, Madden Cards, Franchise
THE BAD:
music, lockups, repetative commentary
SUMMARY:
Simply a wonderful football game for ANY gamer, even those people who hate sports games in general. I used to be one of those people, until I was loaned this baby. I know more about football and the players in one week than I ever did in my entire life...It MAKES you interested in stats and plays.
A great feature is the Franchise, where you can make a team go through YEARS of seasons, and watch them grow, draft players, retire the oldies etc...simply genius..What replay! Madden cards are an extra incentive to try for odd plays, but using them in a game will kill the realism of the game..A lot of cheat cards can give you unfair advantages.
My only beef was the music/commentary...not a lot to go on...over and over can get pretty nerve racking... I suggest playing your own music on a CD...
