THE GOOD:
- I feel there is a great improvement from LOW 1.
- Bonus footage, such as interviews with the Legends.
- Great Carreer mode
- Good idea for a wrestling game.
- Better Controls, features and wrestlers from the first installment.

THE BAD:
- Some wrestlers, such as Scott Stiener, aren't really legendary are they?
- Matches like Ladder and Cage are very boring and complex.
- Controls are a bit complicated.

SUMMARY:
A fair while ago, I went and bought the first Legends of Wrestling game. I was extremely dissapointed with it and even handed it back and got a refund. It was only yesterday in which I went and rented this. I was a bit worried if it would be as bad as the first, but I was pleasantly surprised.

You see, this may not be the greatest wrestling game in the world, but it is such an improvement from the first. Some great wrestlers and matches. To me it feels as if they are realising that it isn't just old people who are legends. Eddie Guerrero is even in the lineup! They even have British Legends for us such as Giant Haystacks and one of my personal favourites, Mick McManus. Although they do have people who shouldn't be there, such as Scott Stiener, but still.

They have interviews with alot of these people, and they are good ones aswell. Jimmy Snuka's and Hulk Hogan's are my personal bests.

In the shop you can also buy cheats. They are really good aswell, especially anti-gravity.

Anyway, all in all this is quite a good game. But if you want a good Wrestling Game for PS2.... Stick to WWE.

Well... Im trying 2 write a detailed review of this game. It is going 2 be a long review.. but I hope it will be helpful 2 many ppl.

Roster: This game sports a gr8 list of wrestlers. More than 60 legendary wrstlers r included in the game.THese include Hulk Hogan ,Andre the Giant, Bret Hart, Piper, Graham, Snuka, and even steiner brothers! 2 name a few. So in this feature Il give this game 8.5/10

Wrestlers:
1.Graphics:
The models of wrestlers r cartoonish. They dont seem realistic except a few exceptions like Bret"Hitman" Hart. The reason they look cartoonish is that they r made too mascular. Rating: 5/10
2.Taunts:
THere rnt much taunts here. At the most 2 taunts for a wrestler. Rating: 6/10
3. Signature moves:
These moves are done pretty well and at least most of these look realistic. Rating: 8/10
4.Attires:
This is where this game is better than most others. Each wrestler has 4 attires ( in simple language 4 different dresses). Which is a good feature. And actually there is a difference betn these 4. Rating: 9/10

Controls:
If u r a fan of Smackdown series... then at first u will definitely have some trouble with the controls. But still one really good feature is that in options menu u will have a complete tutorial which helps a lot. And it wont take much then 2 get used 2 the controls.. at the most 3 hrs. THough if Acclaim comes up with a better control system.. itl be welcomed. Rating: 6.5/10

Arenas:
Well.. they r ok. they r poor if compared 2 the ones in Smackdown SYM. Actually what makes arenas look poor is that they look 2 dark. Rating:4/10

Moves:
We have got a decent number of moves. They have altogether different system though than Smackdown series for the execution of moves. First of all uve 2 use R1 for running. then x is for blocking, right analog stick for taunt and finishers, o for basic grappling, triangle for attack which are actually moves like snapmore, and sqaure for kicks and punches. Also l1 is for behind attacks whicha again gives 4 grappling moves from behind. And u have 2 be in a particular positions 2 do the finisher. e.g. 2 fo Sharpshooter, when opponent is on ground u have 2 hold hi legs first with basic grapple o and then use the right analog stick 2 do the sharpshooter.
Now the range of moves. Honestly I was surprised 2 c some of the moves. They have got moves ranging from Tombstone Piledriver 2 a Stunner! Even F-5 and F-U r in the game!
And ya.. reversals r fun!
Rating: 8/10

Season Mode:
This season mode is Different.. I actually liked it. Its totally diffrent than Smackdown SYM. Here its like good old days with emphasis on wrestling rather than other things which have given wrestling a feeling like an entertainment show. U have storylines here..and plenty of them.
Basically u have wrestle through different regions and u have 2 win the Title in that region. On each win u get green coins which u have 2 gamble 2 get blue and red coins. The idea of gambling is really bad as its difficult 2 win blue and red coins in gambling. and the worst thing is u need blue and red coins 2 unlock stuff.
U haveabout 10 storylines for each region. the only interactions u have r with the promoters of the region. U dont have 2 reply 2 them.. but depending on ur actions the story moves ahead. For example.. in one region a promoter asks u 2 do a job against a wrestler ( means 2 lose a match.. in more simple terms :match-fixing).If u do the job u get simpler matches and get a title shot quite easily. But if u dont do the job and double cross the promoter then he says that now Il make ur life hell and u get the toughest mathces and getting title shot becomes difficult.
Also one thing I liked about season mode is that U have 2 be popular enough 2 get a title shot. U become popular depending on ur performance in each match u play. If u do repetative moves in a match then ur popularity decreases, also if u execute a variety of moves in a match ur popularity increases. Even there is a diff in popularity after winning matches with finisher and without finisher. Also on loosing a match ur popularity decreases. There is also excitement factor.. if crowd is more excited then u become more popular with each match.
Once u win the belt... u have 2 defend it. and only if u defend it u move 2 nxt region otherwise if u los ethe belt in nxt match after winning it u again have 2 go through a series of matches 2 get a title shot again.
Also one thing different in the season mode is that the difficulty level gradually increses. After u win say 3 or 4 region titles it becomes really difficult 2 win matches and u have 2 really put a good show for a win.
Actually during the match the enjoyment is more. There is excitement as u cant get an easy win as u progress further. Also it is not easy 2 win cage, ladder and 3 way macthes. But trust me they r really gr8 fun 2 play! But at one point in some storylines the difficulty os so high that it gets frustrating.
So for Smackdown SYM fans( I am one of SYM fans)if u r bored with SYM season.. try out this season.
Rating: 7.5/10

Overall Graphics: Il give 6/10 for overall graphics.THey r poor compared 2 Smackdown SYM. Actually they dont have colourfulness in the game. Its on darker side with darker arenas.. less colourful wresters. And not much change in camera angles. If u play this game after playing SYM then ul say -what the hell is this? same thing happend 2 me.. but still once I gave some time 2 this game.. I liked it.

Enjoyment: Il give 8/10 if u r wrestling fan. Cage matches and ladder matches r really gr8!

Create a wrestler Mode:
Its bad. 2 bad. Smackdown 2 Know ur role has a much much much better CAW mode than this. But as most wrestlers r cartoonish... u can create stone cold or even Brock Lesnar which will obviously be cartoonish;)
So Il give 3/10 for this feature.

Extras: THis is where this game rules! U have got interviews with legends speaking on their careers. Also there r career ending instants of wrestlers which u have 2 unlock by comleting a season with teh wrestler whose career ending movie u want 2 unlock. Rating: 9.5/10

Unlockables:There r loads of Unlockables. But i feel they should changed the way of shopping them with red n blue n green coins. As Ive mentioned earlier, its not easy 2 get blue n red coins.
RatinG: 7/10

The Bottom line:

This is the game for u only if u r a wretling fan. In my opinion for a game 2 be enjoyable.. it needs a good concept though good graphocs r must. There r many PC games which havent got good graphics but r still popular coz of their concept. THis game should have got much better graphics as PS2 has tremendous potential 2 display stunning graphics.

So if U have money enough only 2 buy one Wretling game.. then I should Advice u 2 buy Smackdown Shut ur Mouth first.

But for a wrestling fan.. u should at least once play this game:)

THE GOOD:
Great gameplay with plenty to go for.
blood a lot of wrestling games don't have blood
loads of old school wrestlers to pit against each other

THE BAD:
not the most realistic gameplay
limited variety of weapons and moves
hard to control sometimes
some superstars that i would have hoped for did not appear e.g. Sting,Buddy rogers(first ever WWE champ),etc.

SUMMARY:
i like this game it gives me the opportunity to do it old school style and enjoy busting up all of those legends.
It is not the most realistic wrestling game because of what comes after the tie up the four positions in which apparently a lot of wrestlers must use to execute there bodyslamming moves (suplex isp, belly belly isp, etc) the controls are a lot harder to master because of the harder gameplay of the game and all the attacks that you need to learn and how to execute them

THE GOOD:
If you grew up watching wrestling, you'll love to play this game over and over. it has nearly very wrestler you I can remember, and CREATE A LEGEND things to create the guys who didn't make it into the game. Once you get the hang of playing, it's just too fun.

THE BAD:
programming seems a little weak. the game has frozen on me twice, and I'm sure you've heard about the chaos in CREATE A LEGEND. wierd things happen there.

on other notes, battle royal should have been able to support more than 4 wrestlers at a time in ring. and more than two wrestlers in ladder and cage matches would be fun too.

SUMMARY:
I'm told that once you win belts in career mode, you can defend them in exhibition. great idea for multiplayer lovers (like me) it would be nice to actually see the belts on the wrestlers, but hey...

cage match is cool...bust the door open and get out before your opponent climbs over (or vice versa)

ladder match has just enough. I love the way you can get weapons from under the ring in any match! and you can set it up where using weapons in the ring will get you a DQ.

tag team is the name of the game in LOW2. you can have standard two man tag, 3 man tag, 4 mag tag and 4 team 2 man tag (all either one pin or elimination)

overall, a lot of great ideas. programming needs more beta testing before released and for god's sake but the belts on the wrestlers! it's all about the belts!
