Kya: Dark Lineage

THE GOOD:
The game in itself is highly enjoyable, with a great storyline that has some interesting twists. The Graphics although nothing to boast about are fairly good. Also the wide variety of shops and moves you can do are a good laugh.
The characters are incredibly unique with a crazy and maniacal villain to the friendly natives, (who look surprisingly like ewoks.) You also have the wolfen some rather disturbing enemies you meet along the way.

THE BAD:
The restrictions in the game just get too annoying and sometimes you feel like smashing your console up. The levels can often get repetitive and sometimes you just can't seem to kill all the wolfens in one level which is one of the aims of the game.

SUMMARY:
Overall this game is good, a 3.7 I would say. For a platform it has some incredibly enjoyable additions but I do believe you have to be patient and be ready to start something you've spent ages on from...

THE GOOD:
For a platform game, I was quite impressed. The battle system is unique and enjoyable. With all the different attack combonations that are available, battle is definatly a plus. The graphics, though they aren't the best, are more than adequate to add to the great three-demensional worlds you can explore. The main character is great too. It's nice to see a nice female character kicking some ass in the gamming world.

THE BAD:
Sometimes there are just not enough resources, and by that I mean I run out of energy way too fast. Also, the music is not something to brag about either. Other than that, it's quite good.

SUMMARY:
I really enjoy the story as well, (all though it reminds me terribly much of Star Wars) This game is a lot of fun, and humourous and also a nice challenge at points. There is always something to do, and it keeps you entertained for a nice long while. Definitly a must-buy.... um... nice!
