SUMMARY:
Stop the press, if your a huge fan of the King of Fighters series then you'll want to buy this game. The King of fighters fighting game usually boasts an intricate plot, however following in the footsteps of the King of fighters 98 this is an all-out slugfest.
Many of your favourite characters have returned from the depths, including the Orochi Team, Iori's 96' partners Mature and Vice, not to mention many of the other prevoius teams from predecessing titles and many hidden characters of which four have been confirmed (King, Orochi Iori, Geese and Goenitz).
Another addition to the King of fighters system is the HSDM (Hidden Super Desperation Move) needing you to be at 25% Health or less, in Max mode with at least one power bar spare. These moves can change the pace of the entire battle allowing a very suprising comeback to those who master them.
The visuals are that of the traditional 2d style but watch out there are some very nice animation sequences, especially for character attacks.
So for all those fans out there who want to play the most challenging fighters game, purchase King of Fighters!!!
