THE GOOD: The story is pretty interesting and the machine guns are cool.THE BAD: The controls are out of whack, there is more but thats most noticeable SUMMARY: Killswtich sucks. Big donkey balls. I mean have you seen donkey balls before? Nasty little things. Anywyas, Killswitch has some good concepts, ideas and such but there controls needed to be ALOT tighter before they put this out, that would have at least gotten the game a 3. Anywas other than terrible control the fighting isn't very exciting, I mean I was siting there bored outta my mind killing things( and the walls cause of the loose controls)The whole hiding behind the walls was also a good idea but since you have to actually maneuver yourself on the wall in a very awkward way you will probably run and gun and get killed. Another thing is that the game has bad graphics, seriously they look like crap. Your aiming is also just as loose as walking in the game. Did you think i was talking about the aiming being loose before? Noooo just freaking walking is a pain in the ass. Also you have all the guns in the beggining of the level......WTF!? I want to pick up my weapons to have a better sense of reality and not like I have infinite bullets! Well I wont rip on this game completely, the story is good and even though having all the weapons your ever going to get at the beginning they are all preety cool. Well if you looking for a good 3rd person shooter, leave this piece of shit alone and get Max Payne cause that's a man's game. Not this crap. |

THE GOOD: Offensive and defensive cover system, being able to use your enviorment (i.e. Splinter Cell), slight self healing, hard to run out of ammunition, graphics are very well done, movement is smooth and not looseTHE BAD: Has some camra issues, have to think very quickly (some might think differently), has some aiming issues SUMMARY: Great for the strategy/action people. You have to think on you're feet because every action you take leads to a good situation, or a bad one. Blow away your enemy with a variety of granades and weapons. Levels are slightly lengthy and you go through checkpoint to checkpoint untill you complete the mission. The missions are in a variety of sabatoge, elimination, search and destroy, and just plane old killing. One of the many great things about this game is that you can just go around killing people with assorted weapons. You act alone and complete each mission alone. Kill.switch has a pretty cool set up because you are basicly in a video game. Your character is creating all these wars in a video game. You see yourself in some kind of video transmission and your character that you control controls him. Just think fast, and react even faster, and you'll pull through. |

THE GOOD: Awesome game play. The hide/shoot option is done very well and offers a different way of handling the shoot 'em game. The story line, too, was good, in that it played out more like an action movie than a fantasy game. THE BAD: TOOOOOOO short. I'm not the best gamer in the world, very far from it, but in less that 7 hours of game play time, I had finished the story. They make it clear, however, that they are looking to make/issue kill.switch II, by the dialogue before the last credits, but that doesn't make one feel better about the suddent end of this game. SUMMARY: Will I buy kill.switch II ? Probably. If it's as short as this one will I be upset ? Most definetly !!!
It's a great game/idea and Namco should have let the production team go farther/deeper w/the story/characters instead of setting us up for purchase # 2. |

THE GOOD: This game is packed with exciting, challenging action, and great sound and graphics. The story this is all about seems very deep and complex, but we're only given a taste, which means there will be at least one sequel. The weapons you use, from the guns, to the grenades, to the stationary guns, are all incredibly realistic, and fun to use. You fight useing stealth and most of all, cover. sort of like splintercell, but with more emphasis on using your environment to keep safe and kill your enemies where they are open. The five levels are all extremely diverse and fun to explore. You can fight from numerous places, using differen guns, and grenades, which gives this game a lot of replayability.THE BAD: The only problem with this game is its length. A day or two of hard work, and you're done. I took my time and enjoyed it, but any hardcore gamer with skills, woulc be able to complete the game in less than a day. The five levels and the training course are all relatively long (later levels get longer, and harder to beat, meaning more time spent in slightly longer areas), but when I reached the end, I was both satisfied, with what was a decent ending, but at the same time, dissapointed, knowing that going back and replying the levels to death would only take a week. SUMMARY: For gamers who like the genre, or are just curious, this is a good challeng, and has plenty of replayability, to a veteran of stealth and tactical fighting games (rainbow six, counter-strike, socom) this is a bite size snack. But any one with good gaming skills can enjoy this, even if they only rent it. |

THE GOOD: Hiding behind cover- not a lot of other games allow u to hide behind cover virtualy anything is cover. Flashbang- The flashbang is very realistic , u dont see to many games if any have a enemy scream and shoot all around when blinded by a flashbang. The game is fun, and provides a more realistic look at thingsTHE BAD: Not a wole lot of wepons buti did not complain about the ones i did have. The game lets face it, it was short. The enemy A.I. was good but man thier accuracy sucked. At first the game story line is a bit hard to figure out but later becmes clear.
SUMMARY: If your a person like me (war game fanatic) I would buy this game, but if not and u are looking at it i would definately rent it, It is short you should be able to have fun and beat it. |

THE GOOD: You can hide behind anything. You don't have to be stealthy. You can just have fun killing people and shooting without having to worry about being found or paying attention to a storyline. Anyway, what's to get? You're a dude in some government operation taking out certain terrorist groups. THE BAD: The graphics aren't the best, but who the hell really cares? You know, graphics don't make a game. SUMMARY: I think the developers had a good idea when they made your only ally the objects you hide behind. Although I think it would be cool if certain objects would provide better cover. For instance, a brick wall gives the same as a metal barrel. Oh well, its still interesting. The storyline isn't to deep or complex. I for one like that. It makes it more funn, IMO. I would suggest this game.
The game is hard. Its very challenging. That is probably why so many people disslike this game. I enjoy a challenging game. It took me a while to beat the first level.
By the way, the music in this game kicked ass! |

THE GOOD: The good? There is no good to this game.THE BAD: Graphics, manuvering etc... Sorry but Tom Clancy's games are better then this one any day. SUMMARY: I would recommend renting this game, instead of buying this game. Then if you like it buy it. But to me its a waste of good hard earned money.
I found this game boring, the graphics oh my god were awful, also there is no storyline to this game, he's just out there killing whomever they tell him to and for what reason?? I don't know.
Manuvering him, aiming the guns and the grenades AWFUL, not impressed at all. This game is very jumpy. But hey this is just my opinion. Maybe someone else out there will give it a good review, but NOT me.
Have fun playing this game, it might or might not blow your mind. And now I am running out of things tos say. |

THE GOOD: so far I don't see any good!THE BAD: to me there is alot of bad, graphics suck, music sucks so on and so on. SUMMARY: Tom Clancy's games out runs this one. At least w/that there is better 3D graphics, music, story board, easy manuvering of whom you are. I am not impressed w/Kill Switch at all, actually I am disappointed in it and for what they're selling it for, should be illegal. Its only worth $20.00 bucks not the $50.00 I paid for it. |
