THE GOOD:
Well it's Jaws, that's good...
That's about the only thing that's good in the game, you get to be Jaws...yay. It is somewhat fun to be the most famous shark in the history of movies....

THE BAD:
-Movement: Hard to maneuver...
-Habitat: All the same...
-Bosses: Easy to beat...
-Easyiness: Entire game is pretty simple and offers no challange what so ever...
-Repetition of levels and quests: Like said....all the missions are alike

SUMMARY:
When I bought Jaws: Unleashed for the PS2 I was a little excited you might say. Like many i've seen all the movies and found entertainment in watching them. I mean who doesnt want to be Jaws and tear apart everthing in your path? Well that's what I thought til I played the game. Now it's, who does want to be Jaws? The answer is no one whos played this game. I do think it was a good idea to give game consumers the ability to play a game as Jaws. However, it was poorly executed and the good idea wasn't so much a good idea after playing.

One thing that is horrible is the controlling of Jaws. Once you get down the horrible control, the game still is terrible...but really, it takes so long to learn how to maneuver Jaws in an accurate way. Constant turning around to go after things you missed. It does get a bit annoying. Another negative is the environment. Once you play you'll notice that everywhere is the same...Oh wait there are a couple of big rocks over there that weren't in the shallows...Honestly you would think the ocean gradually gets deeper as you go out to sea, atleast thats what the scientists say. You'll also start to see that you encounter the same fish and enemies in free roam. Hey that rock looks familiar...thats because it is....

...It's also a very easy game to go along with all this. The bosses are quite easy, as are the normal levels and side quests. Not to mention all of the missions are somewhat similair most of the time. There are only a couple thrown into the mix that are different from the regular missions...

Overall, the bad outweighs the good for this game. There just isnt enough fun in playing the game to oversee the many details that make this game horrible.

In the end, Jaws is a low budget game in which you do find some fun in being Jaws however when the days over you'll leave the console unsatisfied and dissapointed asking yourself, "Why didn't I just get a shooting game?"

So if you want a rudimentary setup and gameplay, but are still intrigued enough to try this game, then go ahead...
