The first Hobbit game was released in 1982 by Melbourne house and was a text adventure. This game, however, was created by Sierra in 2003. The game follows the journey of Bilbo Baggins, a hobbit from the peace-loving land of the Shire. Along with the wizard, Gandalf, and a party of Dwarves, Bilbo is bribed into a quest to help recover the dwarves treasure, which has been stolen by Smaug the dragon.
The graphics-
As the prelude to the Lord of the Rings, you'd expect the graphics to be the same in the two games, but the graphics in the hobbit are completely different. Bilbo looks as if he has put hair gel in his hair, and has big, bushy eyebrows. His feet are over-sized and all of the other characters are roughly the same. The backgrounds and surrounding scenery are very detailed, and they have shadows and light on them, just like real life. Over all, the graphics are quite childish.
