THE GOOD:
Very unique and addictive gameplay. Includes a guitar controller. Excellent soundtrack.

THE BAD:
You don't get a real guitar. Some control issues with guitar controller. No online play/scoreboards. Price.

SUMMARY:
The newest game capitalizing on the popularity of music/sound simulation games, Guitar Hero takes it one step further by giving wanna-be Eddie Van Halens a chance to play a guitar like a pro. Using a specially designed guitar controller, you can play along to over 30 modern & classic rock anthems spanning over 30 years of music as you and your band start out doing small club shows and work up to the big time.

The graphics are simple but solid. The character models are based on what a typical rocker would look like but lean a little too much towards overly cartoonish, but they're fun to watch perform while you're playing. The backgrounds are fairly well-detailed and nicely represent...
