Background:
Growlanser III takes place 1000 years before the first Growlanser title, detailing the events leading to the scenarios in the first 2 games. A world map is now present, unlike previous games, as are random dungeons. Battles are still small-scale tactical affairs, with new gameplay features like the magic Combination System. More importantly, you can now choose how you will play through the game: on the path of good or evil.
