THE BAD:
Not the best story
Not all the ghosts can be sucked up
Swamp bit is frankly boring
Not challenging
Not that scary
SUMMARY:
Ghosthunter is a good horror game but is there any reason to buy this in front of Silent Hill 3 or Project Zero? I wouldn't put Ghosthunter into the horror genre because it isn't scary. Aimed more at 12 to 14 year olds. Sure it make you jump and it once made me go woah! But that's it. The game has six weapons such as the Lasso gun but the key gadget on the game is the capture grenade. It isn't really a grenade as such but it capture the ghost and puts them a ghost container called the array. If you've seen Ghostbusters you'll know that Studio Cambridge have seen this aspect and put it in a game. This is done well. The graphics are brilliant. Let me tell you, this one of the best looking...
THE BAD:
The voices are scary...and Lazarus needs more health.
SUMMARY:
What can I say? There's not nearly enough horro games out there. Though not really terrifying, the first part is enough to make you look over your shoulder. The graphics are fantastic in this game. Lazarus actually breathes...until I get game over...
If you don't get this game, you're missing out. Be prepared for spooky voices and a feeling of suspense you've only known in movies like Alien.
The soundtrack is kickass and thankfully they let you know when you can open doors and pick stuff up. A bit of advice: Turn up the brightness, unless you like walking through shadows for a few days.
