EverQuest Online Adventures

Well, this is a very very fun game, GO BUY IT! I'd end the review right there but for the minimum word count

I have actually been waiting for the game's release since beta3, which I'm fortunate enough to be a part of. It's not a pretty game, but it's addictive as hell. I've never played the PC version of the game, but I can fully understand why they called it Evercrack if it's anything like this one.

I guess I'll tackle the bad stuff first

The monthly fee, although it's only $9.99 a month, I understand how people may see it as a deterent. All I can say is that it's worth it.

Graphics, it's by no means the prettiest game around, especially for a PS2 game, much as I love the game, I think the graphics department does leave much to be desired. Don't expect too much,...

THE GOOD:

THE BAD:
camera gets weird in tight areas but thats it.

SUMMARY:
If your thinking that this game is just doing quests and just leaveling your character your right, and is fun as heck to! If you think that sounds to much of doing one thing think about other games, shooters kill over and over again, racing games go around and around the track,war games build up fight and win, you get my point i hope. this game is so sweet you DEFINETLY should get it. also when u do i play on the castle light wolf server under the name Jezter, look me up when you get it ill help ya out!

THE GOOD:
50x + the size of Vice City? This could be a definate understatement.

THE BAD:
Graphics are not the best but they are not bad either. Lack of music.

SUMMARY:
First of all, this game is not for everyone. But if like RPG's and are NOT a veteran of the PC version you WILL be in definate awe. I have never felt the sensation of fear and apprehension (in game world that is) as strong as I have in EQOA. Looking at over a the distance, realizing you one more step and this is the farthest from the Shire you've ever been, the sounds of wild, a flash of lightning in the distance. Then a sense of dread as you realize you are surrounded by undead creepy things and all of you comrades have taken to bed.

the emerse graphics intense gameplay and not to mention i believe this will be responsable for more sleepless nights then when ruins of kunark came out i think that about sums it out i mean i know that there is still some flaw as i am a beta tester but in the 2nd phase but it runs well enough to say sell your first born son to get it just kidding but you should buy it and trust me you won't regret it.emirse world, user friendly, self explanitory, rich graphics, awsome gameplay.

THE GOOD:
This Game is great. The world is huge. The graphics are great. Playable time is skyhigh. Watch out- you'll get addicted.

THE BAD:
Very little if any. Sound could use a little help but it's not that bad.

SUMMARY:
As a beta tester for the second and third phases i was able to get a lot of game time in. The problems are few and getting fixed. The content is extrodinary and they are still adding more before the final release. I would recommend it to anybody as it stood when the last beta ended. The fact that they are adding more makes it that much better.
To clarify a few things the first reviewer said- No, beta testers are not getting a free copy, or any months free more than what they sell the game to the public. We did get to play the game before everyone else, and it was free to play the game during the beta. But the beta discs no longer work, nor did beta one discs work for beta two and so on.
