THE GOOD:
Really fun and hard. Many, many soldiers! This is the first and only strategy game you should buy. Now to the bad.(Which is not long)

THE BAD:
Voice Acting, Long battles. See below!

SUMMARY:
Get this game! It's great. DT2 is out so watch out! Anyways, Enjoy what you see. It will be good:cool:. Just wish that voice acting was better. It looks like this Liu Bei: Blah Blah Blah Lu Bu: Blah Blah Blah <-(faster) It's got real cities like Luoyang, Xuchang, Beijing, and all the others. Well, it can be better can't it? It's still good though. (That's the point of this review:D) I bet you that it will be enjoyable. Although it's boring in some parts, You have to keep playing so you get the accomplishment of beating the game. Use Cao Cao for beating the game. Sheer strength they call it. Xu Huang, Lu Bu, and the rest of the three kingdoms soldiers.

THE GOOD:
The great Tactic attacks, and also the combo attacks.
Also one of the best things in the game, there are certain events where you lose someone important from your force(eg. Once Sun Ce died and made Sun Quan leaders)

THE BAD:
The music. It's always changing the games mood. Lets say its going to sort of baTTLE MUSIC, BUT THEN THE MUSIC GOES DIRECTLY DOWN(soz for cap locks, noticed them)
Having turns also aren't very good, sometimes you have to fight through Armies to reach distenation in proper time.

SUMMARY:
Overrall this game is the best strategy ever,*but ff tactics goes 2nd*
You command your very own Army, and start invading others.

The Tactics Move are good, especially the raid which allows you to breakthrough line of enemies.

If you don't like tactic Games just rent this game and try it out, it might change your mind.

this game is only ment for someone who doesnt mind losing and spending about and hour in one simple battle. Also for someone who likes playing chess sort games. If you are a big chess player or stragity person. well.... i guess this is the game for you. I guess. Seriously, if you dont like stargety games, DONT GET THE GAME!!! dont blame me if you get the game and you totaly hate it..ok

THE GOOD:
Graphics, Music, Gameplay, Multiple Story Paths/Endings, Requires you to do more thinking than just pushing a button...

Battles start to seem tedious after so long...

This game ir really good, definitely better than Kessen or Dynasty Warriors. Like, in Dynasty Warriors 3, you could just keep hitting the attack button, and that was all you did. This game is different, by far. It is a strategy game, so obviously it requires some thinking. Actually alot. This game lets you play as one of three rulers when you start: Cao Cao, Liu Bei, or Sun Ce. Each ruler and their respective dynasty has it's strength's and weaknesses, for example, Cao Cao lives by power, and many of the generals you will obtain will be all out attackers. On the other hand, Sun Ce and his dynasty has alot of generals who are strong in strategy, but not brute strength. For a beginner, I would suggest using Cao Cao,...

I was really amazed how good this game is. This game is definitely better then Dynasty Warrior and Kessen series. This game is sort of like RPG coz if you mass up ur strategies, u are gonna pay for your mistake. Beside, this game got multi endings so u can play any general you want. I strongly recommand this game for those of you who like Three Kingdom stores and dont mind get your brain cells busted a try. It is worth to spend hours on this game. So guys, stop playing Dynasty Warrior 3 and Kessen 2 and jump into this game right away!!

This game is a classic. For some gamers they might think this game is too soft, but if you really like strategy games and three kingdom stories , this game is just perfect.

This game got multi-story lines ,you can act as CaoCao,Liu Bei and Sun Quan,and fight your way through the game with all kind of tactics and combos.The only thing i think they should improve is the graphics,otherwise this game is perfect in every way.

kinda boring while you gotta fight tons of battles... But I guess this is what this game is made for..

SUMMARY:
So... The combo links and tactics is reall really good. if you are smart enough, you can use up to 10 combo tactics and this is really cool.
I think there's only two war strategy game like this from PS2, one is Final Fantasy tactics and D.T. is another one. I would say D.T. is the best out of the two and I would expect Koei will make another one...

THE GOOD:
A lot of freedom - During each task, you can take over whichever city in the order you want. You can decide on which general goes into which army, where each army goes, etc. Basically do whatever you want to complete the task within the timelimit given
Requires planning - You have to plan ahead because you are given a timelimit to finish each task. Sometime you are given 1 timelimit for multi-task
Multi-path - Depending on what you do on the task before, the game will lead down to different path and different endings.
Lot of generals - There is a lot of generals you can recruit. Basically all the big name generals in the Romance of the Three Kingdom novel are included as well as many others.
Tons of army combo - With the freedom of having any 4 generals together to form an army and all the generals, you can form anytype of army you want.
41 Tactics - With so many different type of tactics, you can luanch a lot of different...

This game ios awesome. It has like all the chinese characters I like. The statagey is challenging and you probably need some intellegence to play. All the combo's you can do is my favorite part. I made up a combo that always works. SOOOOOO much damage. I love this game so much, im sure you would tooooo. If you get the game, tell us how much you like it.

SUMMARY:
The fact it's a strategy game may put a lot of people off - but it does a decent job of stepping out of the RoT3K and Dynasty Warrior style. Koei is known for being unoriginal, but this game actually took an original turn. That alone deserves at least a LITTLE attention from Koei fans.

As for the game itself, I found the maps to be enjoyable. Too much of the same thing, though, can get boring. With only 3 terrains in the game, 2 of them being annoying enough to gouge your eyes out, it can get reptitive.

The amount of characters, like all other of these games, is enormus. The amount useable... not so enormus. I've made it past the game PLENTY of times with using 8 officers max.

In the end, this isn't Koei's new series that everyone'll like. Just stick to the RoT3K series.
