THE BAD:
Save points are rediculous and the whole battle concept is confusing and unforgiving.
SUMMARY:
Demon Stone isn't worth $50.00. It's not worth $30 or $20. Maybe $9.99, because it isn't even playable. Atari blew it again! I don't know how much they paid for the celebrity voice overs, but they won't make thier money back. The graphics are almost cinimatic. The story, by R.A. Salvatore, is above par. Being only able to save, at the END of a chapter is terrible.If one player in your party dies, the whole group is wiped out. If you happened to have been killed, in the middle of a chapter, you have to start all over again...AWFUL! Your party is always overwhelmed by the enemy and you're supposed to be albe to shift from one character to another, on the fly and memorize all kinds of combo type moves. It's just too much, too confusing and too stupid.
