DDRMAX2: Dance Dance Revolution

THE BAD:
Some of the great and well-known Japanese songs are missing, chipping in a few extra dollars to find a decent dance mat, why didn't the point system get carried out into other DDR installments?, all dance music, and the graphics were never really the best (but it doesn't really matter).

SUMMARY:
Who would've thought that the series would get this far? Certainly not me. While the Japanese series has a lot more games, we have our fair share. It is also well known that many of the previous installments have relied on songs from some of the Japanese installments. This game changes that. You will only find about two songs in Japanese. You will find a lot of well-known hits in this game.

The rest of the game is bad. Honestly who wants to play a game that you jump up and down on a pad. It requires no skill at all just speed. (not the drug)
it's a horrible game, tho it could be used as a chineese torture device. I wouldn't recomend this game to anyone! And the dreadful part is that Domorygato Mr. Roboto isn't in it. What the heck is that about?

When I first played DDR Ultramix for Xbox using a Naki Dance Mat, I was astounded about what I was missing. After completing that, I went to new limits and bought a PS2 Naki Dance Mat, DDRMAX, and DDRMAX2. I also played DDR Extreme in the arcade for good measure. For the uninitiated, DDR Max 2 is the latest title in the long running dance game franchise that began with the coin-op hit Dance Dance Revolution (DDR). The DDR series ushered in the first truly physical element of gameplay, as you're forced to keep up with a groovy dance beat, following the on-screen steps as everything from pop tunes to drum and bass tracks are blasted at you. Your controller is a roughly 3' by 3' dance mat, with stompable "buttons" at each compass point. The gameplay is deceptively simple: as the music plays, dance steps in the form of directional arrows flow up the screen. Your job is to wait until the dance step hits its matching spot at the top of the screen and then stomp the dance pad in that direction. The trick is, sometimes you'll get two steps (like a left...

songs can get old. pads sometimes crap out when doing hard songs.

SUMMARY:
This is the sequel to the DDRMAX that was VERY good (import, not the domestic version) This has most of the songs you loved and overplayed from Max2 in the arcade.

It adds Paranoia Survivor, and Crash and Love2shine among other songs that are in the suberb arcade installment of DDR EXTREME 8th mix.

Unlocking songs is easy. Just play and unlock.
Trick oni has to be the inovative feature ever. You get random songs, with random modifyers. The oni's also are more challenging, and you can make your own. Like in the Make your Own Non-stop in Konamix.

If you are a ddr nut, or interested in the seris, import this game.It won't dissapoint.
