Crazy Taxi

great game. nice story plot. go out and earn money and try to get the highest rank posible. 4 chrachers to choose from and 2 huge cities to make money in.

graphics are really good and everything is clear


sound/music is bad the sound quality is really poor.

overall i think crazy taxi should've put more tracks and players in the game. the game is really small and the challenges are way too easy to complete.

THE GOOD:

Only 4 cabbies.

Just a more expensive version of the 75 cents-per-try arcade game.

SUMMARY:
So one time, I was visiting an arcade when I saw a game called Crazy Taxi. I put 75 cents in the machine and had the wildest ride in my life.
But that was 2 years ago.
After all the other game experiences, I stopped going to the arcade until I saw Crazy Taxi for the PS2. I had the exact same game! I felt a bit ripped off, but I tried this game anyway. It was fun, but not as fun as the arcade version. The 2 cities are quite large and fun to drive through, but you only get 4 cabbies, and each of them suffer from repetitive sound and voice problems. THE GOOD:
Stunning graphics, fun, cool theme music (the offspring- all I want). This is a very easy game to get used to.

THE BAD:
There aren't enough vehicles, its pretty boring after a while as its the same thing over and over again.

SUMMARY:
This game is good for about a week, then it just gets boring, as all you do is drive around doing the same thing, pick people up and drop them off. Its the sort of game that you can't play for hours on end. There isn't much to accomplish other than unlocking the bike and bowling mode. The main aim of the game is to earn yourself a higher ranking thus getting you more money, you do this by picking up more passengers and beating records.
There is one thing that totally rocks and thats got to be the theme tune, which is The Offspring.
This is a good game if you like driving around smacking other cars off the road. So I would recommend this to people who like car games.

Good graphics, descent gameplay, easy for beginners and virtually takes not skill what-so-ever.

THE BAD:
Repetitive gameplay and multi-player modes are lame, boring and poorly done. This series has gotten old fast.

SUMMARY:
I remember back in the day when I used to go to my local Arcade and play this game all the time. That was when it was fun and entertaining. Since then, the series has gotten old because of the boring gameplay and its basically the same thing over and over again just with new characters each time a new one comes out.

SUMMARY:
Crazy taxi gives a new dimension to driving games on the PS2, this is a great game when you have 30 minutes to kill.

You can just pick up and play an enjoyable game whilst completing the taxi missions or just having fun.

The only limitation is the fact that you don't have many novelties hidden for you to unlock.
Also you'll soon get the hang of the city streets and where each customer wants to go. Thus knowing the best route to repeat.

Good for gamers who have small gaps in their timetables to fill. Not a game for gamers with short attention spans

This is the best taxi type game ever.Though if you have the Dreamcast version there is no reason to get this PS2 port and this game is kinna getting old but there is no other game like it on the ps2!!!

Es siempre lo mismo, si coges a un cliente y lo llevas a su sitio, y luego lo vuelves a coger en su lugar original, !te pide que le lleves al mismo sitio!!! La movilidad del coche no esta muy conseguida.

THE GOOD:
This game tends to be a very good arcade game. It has excellent features, keeps you playing for a LONG time, and is quite funny when listening to what the characters say often. The gameplay is great and the controls are excellent.

THE BAD:
It can be very unrealistic at times and very dissapointing that there is no story mode. It would've been better if there were more secrets besides that lame bike, as well.

SUMMARY:
Overall I rate this game a 4.1 out of 5. If you have he money and are thinking abut buying this game, I fully support you. It will keep you occupied and is worht the money in my opinion.

Fast paced fun for every age, grat arcade, original and crazy box modes to choose from, loads of cars (once you`ve unlocked them in crazy box mode). A totaly laid back game for fast paced fun

THE BAD:
not many options to choose from. (should be a 'story' mode.

If your looking for a fast paced, laid back, cool chillout type of game this is brilliant. Appart of the lack of options i can`t really fault this game.
