THE BAD:
Compter Al thinks it's his job to crash as many cars as possible per race.
SUMMARY:
I don't mind a long learning curve on a game if the final results merit it. This game does not. A sim mode should act like a sim, these cars handle worse than 18 wheelers pulling a fully loaded trailer on icy roads. Also, the tuning mode has little or no effect on the handling of the cars. Crashes are spectacular but crashes don't win races, they kill people. I wonder if they will give me a buck trade in on this piece of crap?
THE BAD:
Cars handle like sleds, and after burner turbo boosts, gezzzzzzzz!
SUMMARY:
Let me get this right, the first thing that you unlock is a friggin commercial? that bites!
THE BAD:
some lengthy loadtimes
SUMMARY:
nope, not a sim, but if your looking for a fast, fun arcade racer, this is it. All the speed and excitement that I like about champ car racing, without all the boring setup and dryness of a sim. Plus, you have over twenty other cars on the road with you and there is almost no bog!! Offers an arcade mode and a more difficult 'sim' mode where you adjust you car, and there's tons of hidden codes and drivers to unlock.
You can always pick it up and play with friends-- totally fun to race for times and crash your friends. and check out the wrecks and all the pieces flying at you -- awesome!
SUMMARY:
$50 bucks for this, I should of just given the $ to the panhandler! At least he could got a good hang over on it.
