THE GOOD:
32 stages in Championships. New mode, Crash for Cash, Where you must crash and wreck vehicles.

THE BAD:
Not many events, to take part in main game mode.

SUMMARY:
Burnout was supposedly a good arcade racer, but Burnout 2 is far better. The Graphics, physics and races are better. It feels like a real street race. Weather conditions can be fun, when raining you get a feel for it. The crashes are more realistic than ever, and give you a sense of havoc. Crashing can even be fun. The game is all about high speed, dangerous driving, and it encourages you to drive dangerously. The game can be for anyone, its fun, fast and stylish.

Gameplay: The cars all handle well, and the crashes are realistic. Cars react sharply to what you tell them to.

Difficulty: The game can get difficult at times, and slighlty frustrating at first, but you get used to it pretty...

THE GOOD:
lots and lots of boost! and great cars! good muiltplayer game!

races sumtime get boring!

Burnout 2 is way way better than the first!!! has more cars/levels to it! i like how to get boost u have to drive really really close to cars and i like the level when u try and get a big crash! most money for my crash was 8,285,394 million dollars worth! that was a true car crash! i hope u at buy this game! if your still not sure just rent it from blockbuster then! i really recommend this racing game! iam a huge fan of racing games! like grand turismo a-spec but burnout awesome cause its a little easier! hope u check out this game/buy it! have fun gamers! and remember try that crash level its so addicting!! see ya around !! I think that midnight club II is the best game because the graphics,vehicles and were it takes place.This game just unbelievable and irresistable.The down point of this game is that if don't win you will lose all of your money and your car but don't let that put you off the best game ever.The other thingis that there is hardly any weapons in this game. this game is class!!!!!!!

THE GOOD:
wicked graphics and cant forget the classic crashes!!!!

a 3.8 come on guys we are looking at a classic! there is nothing like this game. this games does what i thoght wasnt possible on the ps2! there is so much happening on the screen at one time.this could be start of a new era. burnout 2 is #1 on my list of racing games!!!!

great game play maybe won't appeal to others but if you like speed dodging on coming traffic spectacular crashs modified cars this is the game for you the creators say the wasn't going to make a sequel then the watched the fast and the furious insiring them to make this exhillerating game that will leave you breathless from the word go this is a game that must be tried it makes an excellent change from the slower Gran turismo rent buy it just give it a chance an all round great game

THE GOOD:
The graphics are awesome, the crashes spectacular.

THE BAD:
Much less traffic on the road then burnout 1, speeds are too fast to actually worry about hitting anything.

SUMMARY:
The game looks awesome, control is near perfect.
Crashes have sparks and parts flying all over the place.

But what is the price to pay for all this eye candy. There hardly is any traffic on the road. In completing the complete first championship series, I haven't seen 1 busy street, or busy motorway. Nothing like the rush hour track or river city from burnout 1.
It also seems the cars have shrunk a little compared to the road. A truck sometimes doesn't even take up half a lane on a road.
To make up for the little traffic you encounter you drive much faster then in burnout 1. At these speeds it would be impossible to play the first one.
Add the super-wide roads, you drive on most of the time, and...

THE GOOD:
graphics to die for, no jaggies at all, a real sense of speed and the crash mode...ahhh the crash mode..

THE BAD:
the cars look nice but if they were real cars... it would hve been better... criterion shouldve taken a hint from tokyo extreme racer

SUMMARY:
if u like racing this game will be a great addition to your gaming library, otherwise its probably best to leave it for rental at ur local video store
