Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 2

THE BAD:
- Controls are very hard to manage.
- Crashing is very consistent.
- Very, very glitchy.
- The courses are not varied.
- The challenges are just plain hard.
- Repetitive and boring

SUMMARY:
I love playing BMX games, but this is definitely one that I would not buy again if I had the choice. There are several flaws with it.

CONTROLS: The controls on this game are terrible. Steering the bike, which you do by just pushing the analog stick where you want to go, is very frustrating. Or you can steer using the directional pad, which is even harder. Once you get your character going on his bike, it is impossible to slow down unless you come to a full stop or crash into something. THE BAD:
Horrible slow floating physics, ridiculous tricks. Poorly designed bad levels. Difficult challenges (do a 1080)

SUMMARY:
GRAPHICS: 7/10 It looks nice on the people yes. Quarter pipes now look a whole heap worse than the original with an ugly Kink in the middle. Ugly cars,
PHYSICS: 2/10 Too unrealistic. The whole damn game's in slow mo with moon physics. You can fire off stuff like double whip 720's with ease. Which is fun enough, but The original which was still "game" unrealistic was less crazy and in my mind more enjoyable. This is disgusting.
TRICKS: 10/10 This is where the dave mirra's excel over the Mat Hoffman games. There is more tricks than in any other game by at least 1000. Great sytem but gets rid of some realisim but for tricks I don't mind. I more dislike the tricks like triple back flips, double front flips and body flips. They are stupidly...

SUMMARY:
its a hell of a game to play when your bored..great music you got godsmack-awake some others i cant rememeber there names..you can get some big ass air for triple backflips!(never landed one but i came close) you can pull off double backflip 900 coming off a 100 ft jump(you talking about EXTREME!! of course i never seem to land them neither) some sucky things if you go to far in a level u have to restart,if cars hits u get dragged for ever..get wicked and try a double frontflip or backflip to frontflip or try riders special moves

If you want good BMX game then Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 2 is the game for you... This game is has all you want.

But you do need cheats.... Most defitily you need cheats... with out them then the game is hard.... but some people like that... not me.... i like to try all the levels right way..... buy this game you'll be happy you did.

This is game is a over all great game. It does have its problems.... but everything does.....

This game is pretty good, it keeps getting better and better as it goes along. It is a very good game to play if you want to have fun with biking games. I would really recommend this game to anybody who likes action biking games. This game is totally worth the money, trust me!

I found this game to be lots of fun and always found myself going back and playing it. It has loads of different modes to choose from, all that are fun and high in replay value. The objectives are fun but repetive at times. The game is at a medium difficulty level but I had no problems with it.

Overall Outcome: Buy It!

THE BAD:
If you have played the other 2 Dave Mirra games on the PSX you will notice the very first time your rider takes off riding. The game needs to be slowed down drastically so you can see what is going on. Always go go go.

SUMMARY:
This is a great game if it is the first time you have played a game like this. The controls are O.K., again if you have never played Dave Mirra Freestyle and Dave Mirra Freestyle Maximum Remix for the Playstation 1.
Before you go out and buy this game just rent it to test it. I had it for 5 days, played it for about 30 minutes and never touched it again till i took it back.
All in all the game is OK but they could have taken more time on controls.....But hey, thats just my opinion....

Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 2 is a great game for the ps2 i played dave mirra 2 all day on christmas thats when i got it. but really if you've played dave mirra freestyle bmx and dave mirr freestyle bmx maximum remix im sure you'd love this title for the playstation 2 console. with its great graphics it should keep you on the edge of your seat, but i really do enjoy this game and it also has great songs from popular artists such as ozzy, the cult, godsmack etc enjoy!

THE BAD:
Glitches are everywhere. You'll be flying up getting mad air and you are about to land and then you just warp somewhere else. Thats happens once in a while. Or your character will just start getting lines through it. The tricks you need to do to complete the level can sometimes get really hard to do and there are no tips that can help you. plus the graphics aren't real all that good.

SUMMARY:
You can go just about any where in the game and do just about anything. you can really do some aswome things in this game. You'll be playing you do 3 Blackflips 980 to a one handed no hander 720. You'll be like "Wow, did I just do that?" and it looks so cool...

THE BAD:
- the game contains a few glitches here and there (but what game doesnt?)
- challenges can be a little tricky at times, but that isnt neccesarily a bad thing...
- there are a few strange points (like the unlocking of a characters end FMV sequence...its well hard to do!)

SUMMARY:
