THE GOOD:
Graphics and cinemas are done well
Lots of combat and gore
A sexy twist to the action genre
New combo system for those who want to use it
New abilities and visions for Rayne
"Killing Puzzles"
Can hang from poles and shoot
Upgrade/Exp sytem for weapons

THE BAD:
Its not always clear where you need to go or what you need to do
The combo system isn't really needed, you can get thru the game with your standard shooting and hack and slash most of the time
Acrobatics throughout the game look like an exact rip off of Prince of Persia, and aren't needed in this game
Story isn't that great

SUMMARY:
Rayne is a cool character, and the style of the game is awesome. However there are some problems still with the series. Other than Rayne this game doesn't really have anything unique to the action genre.
The new combo system is there...but its not really needed or implemented well as...
