THE GOOD: Great, neat graphics, generally fast gameplay, anime style cast of characters, each with their own fighting styles.
THE BAD: Occasionally lags (very rarely), too easy, not enough characters, 2 tigers?
SUMMARY: Bloody Roar 3 on PS2 took me one day to complete arcade with one charcter (because I picked Stun, a really slow insect dude), I was amazed how fast the game runs, I think it runs about 60FPS, which makes for fast paced button mashing, which is cool. The characters range from Uriko, a quick agile kitty girl, to slower characters like Gado, a lion, and Long, a tiger. The best charcters in my opinion are Uriko, cos she's 2 quick for most opponents, and Xion, partly because his combos dish out a lot of damage. Great soundtrack, just a bit too easy to unlock the secret charcters; Kohryu the Iron Mole, and Uranus the Chimera. Overall an excellent beat-em-up which I picked up at a bargain price..
THE GOOD: graphics, and music and probably one of the best fighting games
THE BAD: Sometimes too easy, some combos can kill your oponent flat, may lag
SUMMARY: Well it seems that as each time a sequel came out for this great fighting series it kept getting better and better. There is no exeption to this one. It has everything the old 2 games had and much more might I add. There is no real story behind it as you can compete in "story" mode with each character and learn a little about their past and overall personallity. There are over 15 playable characters to play as and some secret ones as well.
The graphics in this game are amaizing. Its as if your watching an anime. The controls are not hard to learn either. You can play as the fighter and during the fight you can transform into his special beast form to cause more damage, increase your strength etc. The fact that each fighter has his own set of combos and different animal is what makes this game soo great. The sound is incredible. The...
THE GOOD: Humns turn into animals. Why didn't I think of that?
THE BAD: Well you can get sick of it after a while.
SUMMARY: Do you feel the energy rushing to your brain? If so then you my friend have just played Bloody Roar 3. One of the best games for the PS2! This game though is a little different then Bloody Raor 2. The story to this game is now your character has a creast. It's cool in at frist but then you learn that the creast will kill your character. Now all the characters in this game are fighting to save his/her life. Or to make a new threat. All in all this game will keep you playing for hours. To see what happens to your character. Or to unlock the new modes.
THE GOOD: New modes help pass the time. You'll like the backround muisc. All the characters have a new makeover. All the c
THE BAD: I don't like the idea that once you hyper form you can't beast until you go to the next stage.
SUMMARY: When I frist pop this in my PS2 I was in heaven. This game is fun and can be hard. It has a new character named Xion who is strong at some point in the game. You'll laugh at some characters.Or you'll hate some characters. In my eyes this game is good enough for the weekend or more so.This game has a way to keep you playing for hours.Hoped you enjoyed reading this review.
THE GOOD: Beautiful character design, stunning combat moves and great level backgrounds.
THE BAD: Erratic difficulty levels, not enough female characters, and Shenlong.
SUMMARY: Bloody Roar has to be one of the better designed fighting games that exists today. The characters, their fighting styles, and the combat interaction is extremely addicting. Other than the fact that sometimes, as they always do, computer players tend to "cheat" just a little bit. Even on the lowest difficulty level, the CPU will sometimes pull off a million unblockable moves in a row, leaving you splattered on the pavement. Other than that minor inconvenience, it's an extremely enjoyable game. Love the characters, love the artwork, love the combat moves. Shenlong needs to die though. He's a smug bastard and I HATE HIM!
THE GOOD: Fast and smooth game pace, PS2 version of the great fighting title
THE BAD: Not extremely good graphic although not exactly bad, too difficult sometimes.
SUMMARY: Dispise of the blocky graphic, the gameplay itself made up for it. Smooth and fast combo and some nice special effects certainly made this game stand out from the first 2. But the fast and continuous combos also cause a problem to the game play, many times after one hit from the opponent they would preform a 20 hits attack on you in mid air, which you have no chance to do anything about and that's it, KO. Which did made the game a little lame in some way. But if you enjoy the other Bloody Roar titles, this would be a definite purchase, but for other gamers this would only proven to be an average fighting game.
THE GOOD: The good about the game is the hyper beast drive and the awesome fighting techniques
THE BAD: The bad is that it needs to have 3 to 5 more people to make the game a little challenged
SUMMARY: In conclusion,i'll rate bloody roar 3 a b- ,but i know they could do better. And it's one of the best fighting games i have ever seen.If your a fighting gamer you should have tekken tag,doa2,bloody roar3 oin your library
