THE GOOD: The sidequests, amazing graphics, good storyline, one hell of a gameplay.THE BAD: The length of the game was suprisingly short. You play the game for a while, and the next thing you know, you're done. SUMMARY: I forgot how to write reviews but this game is awesome! The side quests are pretty darn fun, mainly where you can take a number of pictures of creatures scattered all over Hillys, and in the space to get pearls, which can be used to upgrade your ship. The camera is the deadliest weapon in my opinion. You go spy on the government, take pictures, and publish it on TV! Hahah.
The game has impressive graphics that will without doubt blow you away. I still can't get over the beautiful view of the space. The storyline is, well, sorta old. About a bad government trying to rule the world and you need to stop it. Well, yeah, but at least you get kick ass sidekicks. Hah!
Overall, a must-have game. |

THE GOOD: Great Action Absolutely Superb Story Brilliant Characters Easy Controlls Superb GrafX Top Notch Sound
THE BAD: Camera Angles Sometime Akward Somehow To Short Nothing Else SUMMARY: I allways wanted this game but I was never up to pay a 50 something Euros, but now I've got it brand new for the budget price of 14 Euros. When I started playing I was up for surprise, the action starts immediately and I was used to the controlls in no time. First I thought some of the ingame characters would give the whole game a sort of childish touch, but once you accept them as part of a science fiction story which this title is you start liking them and you'll recognice that they do fit in quite well. The maincharacter by the name of Jade is beautifully animated and drawn, a great videogame "personality" which one only can love. I would have wished for Jak2 to be as atmospheric as Beyond Good And Evil!!!
I really don't want to get into more details, but I definately would say this is a must get game, especially if you like actiongames with a Jak & Daxter flair even thought it's not really a platform game at all. |

THE GOOD: easy controlls, good camera, makes you think, No game over, you can die but you restart a little farther back from where you were.THE BAD: camera spazes out if your fighting with too many people but spazes out very rarley. SUMMARY: The game starts you off with action, I'm not gona spoil it but its definatley different then most games starting off. It takes a while to really understand how the game controlls work but the game gives you on screen guides when you are doing something for the first time, like jumping. The game is nice and the graphics are very good, no circles that look like there made out of blocks. Everyone knows what i'm talking about. The game is nice because all you really have to worry about is tripping lazerbeams, things that try to kill you, and taking pictures of things you need to. The character will automatically jump gaps for you and your companions are smart. They won't go runing into an electrical wire becuase there following you and you walked nearone. I've really never experienced a game that had someone that followed you work so well. Don't think this game is about taking stupid pictures like that stupid pokemon game. Its total action, pictures are just on the side. The game has really nice cut-scenes after you complete a mini objective. Get ready for stragecic thinking, learning to walk behind boxes on convayor belts and getting your timing down to dodge bad guys. This game gets hard and you just have to learn how to master the weapons. Just practice and you should be ok. This game is amazing and I would recomend it to everyone, except button mashers, lol. |

THE GOOD: Graphics Story Stealth Vehicals Exploration Fighting Side-kicks Chase sceneTHE BAD: Too short Stupid AI SUMMARY: Beyond Good and Evil is a very good game overall. This game is not amazingly innovative, infact this game has nothing we haven't seen before. This game is good because it took what other games did good and they did it better. They also managed to squeeze it all into one game (and a short one unfortunatly). The graphics are on par with every other game out there. They aren't amazing, but they're not bad either. They game-play is great. They stole the boat idea from Legend of Zelda Wind Waker, but they made it faster and included races. The stealth in the game is like Splinter Cell just dumbed down a bit (The enemys are blind). The story is so simaler to Jak 2 its scary. Both games include a corrupt goverment, evil alian bad-guys, and a big, bald ruler. The fighting in this game is alright, but you don't fight enough. The side kick idea was clearly stolen from Kingdom Hearts but this is the only thing they didn't do better. Your side kick is an idiot. He can't fight at all but thats okay because he oddly only has one guy attacking him at once. Finally I have to talk about the chase scean. There is actually 2, but if you got there you know what I'm talking about. It is so amazing that I thought I accidently switched to the Matrix when I saw it.
So in conclution. I suggest that you immidiatly go out and rent this game if you are good at video games and have some free time, or buy it if you are a bit slow or don't have much free time.
