THE GOOD:

Just about everything else SUMMARY:
It is a beautiful game, and I love the graphics and the sound effects. What I don't like is that it doesn't have difficulty settings, and in mission 8, when you really need them the most, your missiles won't lock onto the ice chunks. I used to be in the navy, believe me, missiles lock onto ice. I believe the people who made this game, think everyone who plays games is 13 and has the hand eye coordination of a god. Alas I am 37 and those days are long past for me. <br> There is entirely too much going on and When I am playing I begin to feel battle stress. This is a game, not real life. It should be a challenge, not durn near impossible. I am very dissapointed in the game, especially since I searched high and low to find a store selling it at a price I could afford. |

THE GOOD:
Nice graphics, voice overs well done, CYLONS!! audio rocks of course the bonus gallery is nice!!!!THE BAD:
So far, no 2player mode, no tutorial its just a basic jump in ur viper and good luck, try not to get killed (even tho they supply a flight manual of sorts, a practice mode or even 2 player mode would be nice!) And really now..whats with this no save during missions crap? You play for 20 minutes, die then have to restart! I tell you the programmers just don't like us anymore..to make a great game then poop on us w/ lack of save points.... SUMMARY:
The controls take a lot of getting used too, however once you get the hang of them, its really a great game. Mind you I just got it this morning (11-27-03) and have managed to only get to the part on level one (part 4?) where u destroy the sheild generator then attack the big asteroid. This game although will take you some time to master (any aspects) is a nice addition to the consols, and a must have for any Battlestar Galactica fan,,young or old alike. Check out the re-make airing on sci-fi dec 7th.
In the bonus area on the ps2 disc anyway you get old and new episode trailors..as well as unlockables and more. A nice touch
1=poop on a stick 10=excellent
Playability - - ->7.5(Control is a lil too fast)
Graphics - - ->9.5(well done)
Sound(s) - - ->9.5(well done)
Loading Time - ->8.0(could be faster but ...)
Fun Factor - - ->9.5(great fun, time well wasted)
Overall Cost - ->9.0(priced reasonbly and will drop in price in a few more months)
PLEASE ***Rent b4 you buy*** If you have no patience or get mad easily at games, then keep this as a rental
