THE GOOD: > Very impressive graphics and CG sequences. > AI Training and AI Arenas. > Consorts. > Four-Player deathmatch with AIs enabled. > From delivers great music again. > Excellent arenas to do battle with friends.THE BAD: > Not enough opponents in the Arena. SUMMARY: This is honestly the greatest Armored Core game since Master of Arena. There is barely anything wrong with the game--Missions and story are engaging and challenging, enemy AI is excellent, and you can even train your own AI unit. As for the music, From Software has always delivered, and this is no exception. The inclusion of op-intensify in the game allows the player to play however he wants; with or without special upgrades, since computer opponents have always had this advantage over the player. If you're into the Armored Core series, this game is a must. |

THE GOOD: this game was sweet in every way the only thing that would make it better is to have even MORE parts, but they will put in more in the future. Anyway i love it and still play it, and will play it until i get bored, which may take a long time with a game this good. THE BAD: was there anything bad at ALL about this game? SUMMARY: The one thing i like most about the Armored core series is the whole customization deal. I love the ability of making your own AC with its own weapons and other features. The missions are challenging, with a few really hard ones thrown in and the arena is a good way to fatten your wallet and buy all those parts. Also on a side note the story is good too. I am personally a machine gun user and i like the missles too. I would really like to see some really big weapons later in the series that are 1 or 2 shot kills. The OP-INTENSIFY is a fun mix into the game and is a big help when trying to get certain parts. Remember if its too hard then your too dumb All in all Guns+Bots+future=sweet game. |

THE GOOD: It has tons of parts to choose from. You're limited to your imagination when it comes to creating your own custom A.C.THE BAD: No overweight ability that A.C. 1 series through A.C. 2 series had. SUMMARY: It has 200 parts, plus, the parts from A.C.3. You can create your own A.I, and train it to be as good as you. Only 35 missions, so you can beat it quickly, and get all the hidden parts. Multiplayer is great, with all the levels to pick from. You can have a camofluage paint job on your A.C. to make it look cooler. Raven P.O.V. is very easy to use. Even a beginner can use it. All in all, it's the best one yet. Some people will disagree with me becuase they suck at it. |

THE GOOD: Lots of new parts to make one killer AC. First Person View "great eye candy"THE BAD: Could use alot more missions and an actual Character. Needs more of those Massive MTs those are fun to fight. SUMMARY: The only drawback with this game is the length of it. Although the hidden parts are probably their way of lengthening the game. I don't know about everyone else but it could sure use alot more of those Massive MT's that were in AC3 for a decent challenge. And the final boss? They could have made a tad bit more harder to kill. And what about an Online Play? Furthermore, despite all the negatives this is one truly kick @$$ game to play. I look forward to completly dominating this game. But S rank on every mission? Now I just need to aquire AC2:AA and might as well get the whole kit'n kaboodle. Well one can dream can't he? |

THE GOOD: 1. Classic AC fun 2. over 200 NEW AC parts 3. New AI training feature (make ur own arena opponents!)THE BAD: 1. (if u think AC is repetitive) same old AC action 2. With the exception of a few missions, its a bit on the easy side as far as both missions and arena opponents (at least for me SUMMARY: I've been playing Armored Core since AC2 came out several years ago. I get better and better with each new AC release, so from an expert's point of view, this game was easy. At least as far as i've gotten. There are about 34 missions, and almost as many arena opponents as there were in AC3. If you are just starting out, u will notice the severe lack of parts available in the shop. Don't be dissapointed, many more parts become available as you progress. But beware, some of the later missions may take even the greatest ravens several tries to beat. |

THE GOOD: well, for the armored core fans, it is definetly more difficult, expecially if you play without the op-intensify part, other than that, graphics have been cleaned up a bit, and there is actually something that represents a storylineTHE BAD: still no online play, no really defined characters, but that's what Final Fantasy is for, some missions are far too difficult, and i am a pro SUMMARY: ok, first person is good eye candy, not good for much except for blading, all around good game, i actually got my friends into this, and they have overall hated almost all mech games, there is insane depth of customization, new camouflage paint pattern, dont look all that cool though, however, this is still a really cool game, for the armored core enthusiast i have to say that if you are reading this, you dont have the game, and you shouldve have gotten it a long time ago, and for those thinking about getting the game, this is definetly going to be the best time to get into it, as i am guessing the next game will be online you should get practiced right now |

THE GOOD: Silent Line has many very, very cool new parts and plenty of missions to do to earn those parts. It offers the ability to play Versus without that silly team leader thing and you can also design your own AI Arena and train AI (like from Master of the Arena). THE BAD: The AI training feature is only mediocre. Also, the missions and arenas are not very difficult. SUMMARY: If you are an Armored Core fan, buy this. If you are an expert, Silent Line is not a challenge whatsoever, but any dedicated AC designer will want to buy this simply because of the overwhelming number of new parts (200 new parts, bring the total to 433!!!), including Solid EO Cores, new machine guns, left arm guns, many new back parts, and the new color designs (you can do camouflage colors now!!!). |

My Review On Silent Line | 4.3 0 comments |

I think this game is the best of the Armored core series so far. It is the most challenging of the series also (which is what many players want). The secret parts are everywhere and they aren't easy to get. This game I think will bring new players into the Armored core series. The new parts are amazing. Especially the new left arm weapons. The worst thing about this game which we all were hoping for was online capabilities. Another bad thing is the AI. The most ive been able to make the AI do is fly. The final mission was a bit weird and a bit easy, but not as easy as Armored Core 3's final mission. What also made me a bit upset is the Right arm chaingun (which is actually a machinegun) Is useless. It only has 300 ammo, and barely hits, or overheats them. In a score out of 5 I give it a 4.3. If it was online, if it had more missions and arena people, if it had better AI features, it would deserve a 5 definatly. |

THE GOOD: 1.Classic Armored Core Fun 2.200 PARTS?!THE BAD: 1. Stupid Techno Music. 2.Pretty Much the same Armored Core SUMMARY: Great Game! Any Hardcore AC fan should jump right in! New painting effects that are really cool. There are 200 count 'em 200 Parts! For newbs who have just entered the AC craze at first the cuztimizablity may boogle the mind. You will proably spend more time designing than fighting! Newbs should probably read some reviews and see if it fits there Gaming taste first. This game at times can be very hard. But if it fits ur taste and you jump into your custom made AC with all the works and a new Cockpit view You'll be hooked. I would suggest the game to pretty much anyone who ahs a great taste for action and loves that nerdy complexity of customizing that w all love this will be a game for you! |
