THE GOOD:
Superb graphics
Great Firefights
Innovative weapons
Dual Weild Weapons
Multi-player

THE BAD:
Some Missions are too hard
Not enough variety in weapons

SUMMARY:
Now in Area 51 you Play as Ethan Cole a Hazmat team leader. You are asigned to investigate due to a destress call from Area 51. Once you Get there you learn your basic controls. Then the Fun starts things start to happen that are unexplainable. Then after a while you kill your first alien.

Not to Easy to Kill Either. Also the Multiplayer is good.Alot of Different levels. In the Game there are several Hidden Goods. That you can identify with your scanner. Also There are several Easter Eggs Such as The Roswell Incident | JFK's Assasination | The FAKING of the Landing on the Moon | The Burmuda Triangle. These things in itself are fun to find.

Over-all This Game is definately worth A rental AT LEAST!

THE GOOD:
Great graphics
Great firefights
Good weapons
Good multiplayer
Great voice acting

THE BAD:
Can be a bit short
Needs more weapons

SUMMARY:
Area 51 is going into a big open desert filled with other first-person shooters such as Killzone, TimeSplitters: Future Perfect, World War Zero: Ironstorm and a lot more. Thankfully, Area 51 is unique and good enough to compete.

In Area 51, you play as Ethan Cole who is in the Hazardous Matierals Bravo squad. Despite them wearing the HAZMAT suits, these guys are very much like soldiers really. You and the rest of your squad are sent to down into Area 51 to see what is happening. There was a squad down there but are currently missing. Your basic mission is to find that HAZMAT squad and investigate the area.

The graphics of Area 51 are great from the get go. The character models are detailed, there is ragdoll physics, lighting is incredible and overall the game really does look great. Not to mention the cinamatics! The only issue is that the game can look basic but it is very rare to find anything wronfg in Area 51.

The actual gameplay is off-the-hook. The firefights are some of the most intense firefights I have ever experienced in a first-person shooter and I have played loads.
The first quarter of the game has you working with you team and these are best parts of the game. The AI all round is great and occasionally relentless but the game never feels too difficult.
The weapons are great. The assault rifles, shotguns, BBG, Meson Cannon, pistol and sniper rifle are all great but sadly that are the only weapons that you can grab. It may look like a small aresnal but I least it is a good one.
You can change into an alien halfway through the game. It is actually useful as you can get health in this mode and not mention being very powerful. It is simiar to Midway other action game, The Suffering.
You can also find hidden videos, photographs and documents throughout the levels. They aren't the greatest in the world but they are a good novelty.

The sound is great with excellent gun sounds, brilliant voice acting and sadly bad music. But it is very quiet and you will not notice it unless you have extremely good at hearing.

The game isn't the longest in the world but the multiplayer is great too. There is also online is you have the equipment.

Overall, Area 51 one is a great first-person shooter that needs to be in you collection eventually.
