Reign of Fire

This game is apparently based on a movie. I haven't seen the movie, and so cannot vouch for how good it is; but I can say that this game is pretty good.

The story is about dragons who have awoken from a centuries long sleep, and they're apparently not too keen on the idea of sharing the planet with their human neighbors. In a matter of years, the dragons have multiplied dramatically and devastated the earth with their unstoppable reign of fire from the skies. Humans are on the verge of extinction, and only a few pockets of civilization remain, struggling for survival.

Quinn was there when the first dragon woke up. He and a small group of people have camped out in a fort and are having a hard time surviving. Then the Kentucky Irregulars show up. THE GOOD:
Graphics, detailed battles, vehicles, ability to play as a dragon

THE BAD:
Sometimes hard missions and too short

SUMMARY:
Well, i picked up this game at my local blockbuster thinking of a low quality film-game genre and what i got was a superb battle human vs dragon game. The vehicles are easy to control and certain missions have different vehicles throughout the game. The main feature which i liked was the AI. Playing as the humans, you have a vast amount of AI vehicles and people helping you defeat the dragons. At some parts you can look up and all you can see is machine gun fire in the sky. The human AI is certainly helpful.
Then there is the ability to play as a dragon. You can reign fire on the humans and its easy to get caried away.
Overall the game is too short and i would say that you should rent it and not buy it.

SUMMARY:
The movie was ok but not good. The game as well the same. Playstation's 2 Terminator was better then this.

Rent this game. Do not buy it!

THE GOOD:
The dragons vehicles and the terrain is very,very detailed.

THE BAD:
It isn't good for extended gmeplay! You have to stay with cars and if you don't go slow enough you'll pass them right up.

SUMMARY:
It doesn't lack anything it does get boreing after a long while. If you like games where you go out and blow out peoples or mystical animals this is the game for you.

THE GOOD:
good phicics. nice looking vehicles/dragons. ability to toast stuff as a dragon.

THE BAD:
pretty hard to get used to controls. missions start over from beginning if you die. ally ai sucks.

SUMMARY:
Alright game. I can see why some reviewers trashed it. I personally liked it. I noticed in the forum that nearly everybody is having problems, especially getting to the dragon missions. It's really not that hard of a game, once you get used to the controls and the various techniques for fighting dragons. The Human missions are fairly straight-forwayd, usually the protect or destry type. Once you complete the 5th Human mission, you have the choice of continuing on as a Human, or going the other route with the dragons.
