This game is a bit of a disappointment for me. There is plenty of things about it that are bad but I'll talk about the good stuff first. THE BAD:

SUMMARY:
I loved everything about this game. Bullet time was much better, as were the graphics (Max had facial expression!) The detail in this game was awesome, better than last game. (Like if you bumped into a box it would fall over, you could still get sodas from the machine and whatnot). Scenery was some of the best I've ever seen. Mona looked really good, and I'm glad we got to play as her, that was so much fun! (Probably cause I'm a girl, so sometimes I'd rather play her than Max ) Guns in this game were good too. My favorite would have to be the Dragunov. Also LOVED the plot. Classic romance story! It was a great way to end the game. I don't know about another game though, that seemed to be the end of it, but I sure wouldn't mind.

THE BAD:
The graphics could be a little better, and the gameplay can be a little faster...

SUMMARY:
This is one good game. I never played MP1 yet, but i am sure its good. This game is fun... more fun when you have game shark cheats...

THE BAD:
-graphics aren't of the best quality
-a tad drmatic at times
-confusing if you didn'y play the first

SUMMARY:
A good game overall. It worth buying if you enjoy shooter or the gamer series. Not worth it if you don't so rent it or borrow it from a friend. If you buy it you probably will enjoy it. The graphics could be better, but hey what can you ask for. Neither the PS2 or XBox has a graphics processor that can match the PC. The run and gun aspect of the game is fun. Bullet time is slightly improved with Bullet Time 2.0 whcih happens after Max has killed a few enemies in a row. Time will get slower, but Max will move as he normally would. The game custom tailors the difficulty level for you. If it sees you blowing through the game, it will make it harder for you. After you beat it once...

whoever wrote the review that gave this 1.5 was either retarded or on drugs. The graphics were fine. The graphics look like they are 5 years old and are frightfully like Syphon Filter on the PS1. I mean even in FMVs when he bends his coat stays stiff!!!!!!
