For Kouhei Kagami life is just a dull colourless experience to get through. He attends classes, talks to people and tries to get on with his family even though they are not related by blood. His monotonous life is about to get a whole lot more vivid as three girls are about to enter his life, and things will never be the same again.

But which girl will have the most influence on his life? There is Aeka, the quiet transfer student who through misfortune finds herself the victim of bullying, but nobody else seems to consider it their business. Mizuki is the burdened president of the school council who leaves the work for others to do, but her irresponsible behaviour is hiding a self-destructive lifestyle of someone afraid of the future. Finally we have Nekoko, a girl who lives entirely in her own world, with claims of being a fairy and a seemingly never-ending search for the fairy homeworld. One of these girls will become the focus of Kouhei's life, and for better or worse is for him to decide.
