This game is pretty cool. You have a choice of doing tow modes: Superstar or Rookie to Legend. Now if you do superstar, you play as an exisiting wrestler, skipping a whole step in the game. If you play as Rookie to Legend, you play as a new blue chipper who has 0 overness and you have to work yourself up to superstar stardom.

Both modes have the same point, make money, get pushes, and gain overness. You do this by doing good matches and winning them. You can't just try to win and have a bad match, that just hurts you. If you lose in a good match rather then a bad match, that would hurt you less. Wrestling matches involves a column on the side with a list of of moves, the moves change in the flow of the match. For example, in the beginning of the match you can only do moves like punches, kicks, knee lifts, etc. As you weaken the opponent, you can start to do medium level moves such as grapevines, diving elbow drops, and DDTs. Then when your opponent is softened up more, you can do high level moves such as moonsaults, implant DDTs, and piledrivers. Once your opponent is in "Danger", you can do finishers such as the Canadian Destroyer or a Comedy Elbow Drop. The match has a lot of flow unlike the game ESWF. Certain moves can be countered with certain counters, some can't.

Not only do you do matches, you do interviews too. There is a list of 10 things you can try to say, 1 most likely getting said but no crowd reaction and 10 most likely not getting said but getting big reactions. The more charisma/mic skills you have, the most likely you will get the thing you said. How do you counter what your opponent says? You can Take it, which lets him say what he says unless he has bad charisma/mic skills and messes up. You can Interupt and try to interupt him. Or , you can Turn it around which tries to turn it to you. It's pretty tough and you have to do it a few times to get the hang of it.

You also got backstage politics. In the beginning of every show, you are in a lockeroom with 8 guys from your promotion. You can talk to them and say positive or negative things to them. Such as a woman, you can say they look stunning or ask them if someone hit them with the ugly stick. Or a guy, ask him if he has been working out, or if you are the toughest guy in the lockeroom. You can get in backstage brawls or make good friends. Some people are nicer then others. You can be real polite to someone and he can just tell you to buzz off. Relationships affect your job, your boss may not like it if you get into too many fights.

You can work for the indies or global promotions. In the indies, you can work for any amount of feds you want and can make a ton of cash, but your name won't be recongized. In Global promotions, you won't make as much money unless you have lots of overness and your push won't be that great. Nonetheless, your overness gets bigger when you are in a global promotion than in the indies.

Injuries can occur to your wrestler. One feature I like in this game is that when you are injured, you have a choice to let it heal naturally or get into surgery.

You also have a training regime. You can choose how you train and what you want to focus on. You can also choose how many hours of sleep you get each day.

You also have an accountant. With him, you can see how much money you have and your desired life style. There are five to choose from, one is where you just use your money for neccessary things. One is where you are cheap but you try to live a confortable life. One if the average Joe. One is middle class. And the last one is people sitting in their mansions with caviar. With your money, you can buy assetts such as a 5 star motel, a comic book store, and even a monkey!

There are a lot of things you can do with this game, it is so customizable. You can customize the skins, customize the data into real life or your fantasy data, and you can customize the play by play sounds into something like "OH MY GAWD" from JR or "YOU GOTTA BE KIDDIN' ME" by Don West.

I think you should try this game if you are a wrestling fan and like the EWR and TEW series. Adam Ryland knows how to make a good sim and this game has convinced me. Although the fake data is a downside, I'm sure a real life update will be up soon.
