THE GOOD: Dozens of units, fun gameplay, many people online.
THE BAD: Units don't move when you want to build somewhere, not too many triggers for Map making, hackers able to cheat in Multiplayer.

THE GOOD: i think that it is cool because i like to be in the game and this game is in the game type of sh!t.
THE BAD: i think that there are not enough types of upgrades and they take to long for you to be able to going up a level.
SUMMARY: i purchased this item a few years ago and still enjoy playing it in my spare time. in my opinion the marines and the zerg and the protoss are pretty equal even though the protosses plasma cannon not only can take out air but land enimies. there alot more upgrades in the expansion pack and even thought i do not own it i still have played it and will be purchasing it soon.
now this whole 700 some charactor thing is not cool i think that if you do not want to leave that big of a review then you should not have to. on the other hand this is a pretty damn good constructed web site. it is number one in my electronic needs.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THE GOOD: I played it for like, 69 mins and was all like, woah this is nifty! then I got haxored by this person who made himself look like a bug or sumthings. ya he sucks. then a chick came on and gave me her msn and i added her to talk and to see her on cam and while i was i got killed again becuz it turned out it was a guy and ya he sucked and was gay. but for good, the game came in a new wrapper and smellted nice
THE BAD: ok so like haxors galore and like when i click on s#!7 or something it goes all like over and then my mans run over there and im like no i wanted you to stay beotches and it bugged me. and then there was a nuke but it blowed up my base because that little jerk of a red dot lied and shot my base in the face

THE BAD: - Melee...Well...It Sucks - Use Map Settings is Dominant
SUMMARY: Starcraft is a great RTS game with no heroes (unlike WC) which is bad, but counters it with superb gameplay. Much like WarCraft, Starcraft relies you to mine Minerals, the main resource, and mine vespene gas for advanced units such as the Protoss Dragoon, the Zerg Hydralisk or the Terran Firebat. Certain combos are usually required for victory and massing one unit will usually (USUALLY) end in defeat if not supported by some kind of air or caster.
Melee gets boring after awhile and you will usually find yourself crawling to Use Map Settings. The games in UMS are very addicting and you will find yourself playing them for hours with fellow clanmates or even people you have...
THE GOOD: great graphics for the time period this game was made in. great sound too. i love how it\'s so addictive. but beware; the games hard to beat. it's also VERY bloody which is a good thing. oh, and custumizable maps.

to be more detailed, you can be protoss, zerg or terran. terran are human. protoss, smart aliens. zerg, twisted, evil, barbarien aliens. basica;;y, whichever race you want to be, you must defeat the other races and achieve vioctory. if you didn\'t, well, join the club. that\'s the BIG O, or the object of the game. fly across blazing hot seas of lava, or fight hand-to-hand on the front. whatever you do, just win. for god\'s sake, win.
THE ZERG: the zerg are my favorite because they are evil and all thier...
THE GOOD: -great story -nice variety of units - the races balanced very well - playing online via Battle.Net -playing online is FREE
THE BAD: -people who hack online -battle.net continously lagging - the AI on your units are kinda dumb, they continously trap themselves and run into each other, its not too bad though
SUMMARY: This is one of the best RTS games ever on the PC. It is still very fun by today's standards. The single player campaigns are very very fun, but the thing that will keep you comming is the online play on battle.net. Playing melee with other people is fun, and some of the user made maps wih their own scenarios are very very fun. The AI on your units are kind of stupid, trapping themselves and running into each other, but its not bad enough to make you stop playing or anything.
THE GOOD: Excellent storylines, decent graphics, large amounts of units, balanced gameplay, level editor, very detailed in all aspects, unique missions, innovative units
THE BAD: Alliances function doesn't make sense
SUMMARY: Starcraft is an all around superb real time strategy game. Although it's graphics are borderline mediocre the gameplay and brilliantly intertwined storylines more than make up for any downfall there. From the beginning, you have the choice of picking one of three races to play as: human, zerg or protoss; each campaign arranged in increasing difficulty level. And what is so great about each race is that they are not simply distinguished by a different color scheme or what not but instead each race has it's own unique units with their own strengths and weaknesses. Ya ok, its an old game but still, *bleep* bw. Starcraft has the best units, bw made up some new stuff that *bleep*ed alot of the old good strats. I tried to play bw, its not so bad in single player, but for multi-player, *bleep* that. Dark templars *bleep*ed up the things, only medics r a good idea of bw, the flying units all sucks. SUMMARY: I like everything that starcraft provides for you,excellent graphics.Also I have to say that Starcraft is way better then any other game that Ihafe plain.And I have plain a lot of games. Excellent music, excellent layout, excellent everything. If you are looking for an action-packed strategy game, then your looking for Starcraft.
