Background
South Park: The Game is an upcoming role-playing video game based on the American animated television series South Park being developed by THQ, in collaboration with South Park Digital Studios and Obsidian Entertainment. The game is expected to be released in the second half of 2012, for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 video game consoles, and the Windows operating system for PCs. In the game, players will control a new kid in South Park, in order to make friends with the four main characters of the show, Stan, Kyle, Cartman and Kenny, and to defend the town from various threats. Similarly to their duties on the TV show, South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone are writing the script for the game, overseeing the project, and providing the voices of the characters.Game Play
The game is a sidescrolling JRPG based on the gameplay of the Paper Mario series. The player will create a fully customizable PC, the new kid in the town. The player will be able to choose from one of five classes; wizard, paladin, adventurer, rogue, and Jew.Features
