"Sega Rally 2 is a fast game, graphics are well taken care of, the most popular cars are there and even with a steering wheel you really have to work hard for any victory. This game is not a rally sim like Colin McRae but if you like the arcade racing, you will really enjoy it."

It boasts increased playability with the inclusion of championship and time attack modes, but in the end its lack of depth is depressing, and you won't be playing for longer than a couple of weeks."

"Before you go thinking that this title is a direct competitor to the likes of Colin McRae Rally or Mobil 1 Rally Championship, take a look at the movies below, and you'll get an idea of what you can expect. While you'll see dirt stains on the car while you drive, what you won't see is damage, or much of a dent in your momentum when you crash into sides of the course. Speed is the key, and Sega Rally 2 is definitely defined by its arcade roots and easy to get into action."
