"Having had no other experience with big rig trucking simulators, I can’t say how Rig’n’Roll compares to its competitors, but it seems to run fairly smoothly and accomplish what it sets out to do as a truck-driving and trucking business simulator. It’s too bad that the game apparently contains strong language because I think kids in that truck phase might really enjoy this game with a racing wheel controller, and the economic aspects of managing a company might even be a little educational."
"Give credit to SoftLab-Nsk for trying. Rig 'n' Roll is hardly the best racing game of the year, but it's certainly better than the competition. Simulator fans will get a kick out of the California countryside, but gamers who grew up with Burnout and Gran Turismo will likely be bored by the whole affair. It works as an idea, but an hour-long race from San Francisco to L.A. is a bit much!"
"Rig N’ Roll is one of those games that’s a little hard to review because it’s tailored for such a niche audience. Those looking for a truck driving sim will find a decent simulation here that doesn’t really add anything new to the genre but doesn’t significantly detract from it either. Those who are expecting a game that brings truck driving sims into the mainstream, however, will likely find themselves falling asleep at the wheel."
