Peggle Extreme

Background

Mayday! The Peggle Institute has been invaded by a host of other-worldly creatures. It's up to you, Peggle Master, to report to duty and shoot and bounce the critters to oblivion. Take your best shot with energizing arcade fun, now exclusively themed with art and sounds from The Orange Box! The game is only available through Steam or owners of the Orange Box as it was included in it. Peggle Extreme features backgrounds from The Orange Box content like Vortigaunts, Headcrabs, Turrets from Team Fortress 2, the Pyro or even the lovely turrets from Portal.

Gameplay

You have peggles on your screen. Peggles are these points or rectangles with different colors. Blue ones are the basic peggle, the orange ones are the ones you have to eliminate, the green ones are the speciality from your guide (in PE, it's only Bjorn the Unicorn and the fact that he can show the trajectory of your ball) and the rose one are point boosts and are chosen randomly when launching a new ball. The goal is to launch a ball and eliminate all orange pegs with ten balls. You have a bucket moving at the bottom and you can earn a free ball if the one currently launched falls into it.
