Background
After the Apprentice fought back the waves of Orcs sent forth from the Evil Sorceress, all magic was gone from the world, which in theory, should have saved it. But things are not always so simple, as civilization had depended on magic to keep away starvation and sickness. The Apprentice was put to blame for these new problems, and sent to work in the mines. The Sorceress meanwhile, was attempting to find a way to deal with her lack of magic, as she could no longer control the Orcs around her. While cornered in a cave with no way out, a small rift opened behind her, with no other choice she jumped into it, and right in front of her was the one thing she was hoping not to see...The Apprentice. With no other choice she joined forces with him in order to fight back the Orcs that had been chasing her through the Rift. But more and more Rifts are opening, what could be causing it? Or does it even matter? One thing is for sure, Orcs Must Die!
