"The game features an inordinate amount of word clues. Very few are puzzles, and they seem more strategically placed than hidden, so there is no real sense of discovery in finding them."

The puzzles in this game are pretty easy, even when playing at the "Master" or "Senior" difficulty levels. This is essentially a good thing, however, since you have to remember that this is a game designed for children--that manages to appeal to adults as well.

As befitting a detective a magnifying glass is the primary cursor and it changes colour when actions are available such as for navigation, interacting with the game world, or talking to people. Very simple, but maybe a little too simple."
