THE GOOD:
  • Soundtrack
  • You can carry all the weapons you want
  • Various missions
  • The medals
  • The disguising passages

    THE BAD:

  • Graphics (Quake III Engine? You're sure?)
  • Accuracy of weapons
  • Even Easy Mode can be hellish
  • Where is the fun?

    SUMMARY:
MoH is making its beginning on PSX and it's the first FPS involving WWII to have a such impact on the community. So, EA wanted to expand it to computers. After all, it's THE platform for FPS... at this time (and being a non-console player, I still find that the computer is very well adapted for FPS).

    Mike Powell: a good officer

MoH: Allied Assault takes you in WWII in the shoes of Lieutenant Mike Powell, from the US Army, belonging to the OSS office. His first mission sees him in North Africa, trying to save his squad (saving a member nearing death is rewarded by a medal - and it's the only...

General/Summary: Overall one of the best FPS games that I have come across. This is an arcade/FPS with the looks and feel of a sim.
Some missions (Omaha Beach,Sniper City )are tough, but the quicksave option is invaluable in guiding you through. The storyline is gripping enough to keep you one the edge of your seats.

Graphics are excellent and sound is the best ever I have seen for FPS games

    Few minor glitches :
-More than a reasonable number of enemies (they seem to spawn out of nowhere)
-The Snipers are deadly accurate even though you are moving pretty fast and their reload times (using bolt action rifles) seem ridiculous (like Self Loading Rifles -almost)
    - Only a few squad level missions . Most of them you do it alone , from destroying Tiger tanks to battling hordes of Nazis. Would love to have more squad level missions
-Linear gameplay. Although this seems annoynig at first(Wanted to play Omaha beach immediately after...

General/Summary: MOHAA is one of the best games I've ever played. It is by far the best 1st person shooter game I've ever played. The game is just incredible. It's based on WWII, and you assume the role of Lt. Mike Powell as you play through the game. You get to choose from several different weapons throughout the game including the M1, tommy machine gun, sniper rifle, depending on which scenario you're playing. The scenarios are based on actual WWII scenarios that take through campaigns in North Africa, Norway, and Normandy,France to mention a few. Yes, you get to storm the beaches at Omaha Beach. If you've seen Saving Private Ryan, you'll love this scene. It's exactly like the movie.
Gameplay: The gamplay is incredible. At the beginning of each level, you are given your objectives that you must complete to accomplish your mission. The gameplay is so realistic it's as if you're in the game. The enemies are very realistic. It takes a couple bullets before you kill your enemy....

    THE GOOD:
It looks great, some missions are well thought out and realistic.

    THE BAD:
Going solo is like Rambo except in World War II, which sucks.

    SUMMARY:
Day of Defeat, the Half Life mod, does a much better time (although ONLY mutliplayer) at setting the atmosphere and placing the player in a more realistic setting. Although it doesnt look nearly as good as MOHAA, I think you all will find it does a better job of re-creating the battles even without all the eye candy. When you are hit you BLEED and must bandage your wounds. When you reload it ACTUALLY TAKES TIME. Not to mention the enemies you're facing are REAL people so you don't need to deal with awful AI.

And I don't know about the rest of you but even when you worked in groups watching your AI buddies get shot 300+ times in the head and only having their helmet fall off was laughable.

    THE GOOD:
    Health bar helps.

    THE BAD:
You're a one man Nazi killing machine.

    SUMMARY:
This game is fun, who doesn't like going to war, and having everyone die but you, weird huh? Thats because you're the One man Nazi killing machine, no one can stop you. (you're not called that in the game) You're like a tank on two human legs, unstoppable, unbeatable, because you can restart the level if you die.

First installment to the ongoing series which won't die soon, so if you haven't started, you better as you need to play the beginning before moving on. Get this game, its good, but Call of Duty is better. It gets the 4 out of 5.

    THE GOOD:
omaha beach, snipers last stand and hunting with the paratroopers

    THE BAD:
some of the missions, it's like its secret agent mode. you fight solo with no help and that isnt realistic. how does one man defeat a whole regiment even if he had element of surprise.......

    SUMMARY:
To make this game more realistic, you've got to play the mulitplayer. like i said, sometimes the game isnt realistic when you are solo and you are like the universal soldier able to defeat all axis......

    THE GOOD:
Nice visuals as long as you have a good pc and a decent graphics card. It also runs quite smoothly when ran on a decent pc

    THE BAD:
The bots AI isn't great, quite easy to complete

    SUMMARY:
I first got a demo of this game and found it extremly enjoyable and wanted to play more. Thje game as a whole is very enjoyable and plays well on the right pc.

The missions are well thought out and enjoyable but it was a bit too easy to complete I felt though the multiplayer adds life and deapth to it.

I found it plays very like return to castle wolvenstein which is an equally good game.

I reccomend this to anyone who enjoys First person shooters.

This game by EA Games could be one of the best WWII Action game of 2002. The details of this game is unbelievable. Just a reminder that if you don't have a Geforce2 or above, you would not be able to get great qualities from this game. The weapons in this game is exactly what infantries will use in WWII, but comparing to Return to the Castle Wolfenstein, there are less varities of weapons, for there is no sniper, and the most powerful weapon in MOH is a bazzoka. Anyways, there are over 20 single player missions, and the multiplayer contains over 10 different models to choose. This game however is very easy comparing to other First Person Shooting game. The enemies are very stupid, just like playing with bots in Counter Strike. Single Player will be very easy to some of you, but Multiplayer will be good, that is of course good without cheating.

This game is going to be out in January 22nd. I had the privilage to test it, and let me tell you, it's one of the best game I...

    THE GOOD:
Every thing is good about it.

    THE BAD:
Nothing. This game is just the nuts.

    SUMMARY:
From start to finish this game has you on the edge of your seat. One day I was Watching my mate play it on my computer and it was incredable what his reactions were. He was on Omaha beach and I chould see him moving his head round and round and ducking as if he was really there.

It is by miles the best game out, runs rings round the rest and to be honest I cant wait till Medal of Honor Allied Assult SPEARHEAD comes out on Friday the 6th of December! hold on thats today oh crap im going to get it
