THE GOOD: - Graphics are not as chunky as they may seem - Goood fun! - 2 player option - challenging - Wide range of players to choose from - Good value
THE BAD: - some levels are a little too easy - flying is a little difficult (but that could just be me! ) - Characters dont speak
SUMMARY: When i first heard of LEGO Star Wars, i thought it sounded like a stupid little kid's game. It was only when i read the review in PCGA (PC Games Addict) that I decided i was wrong...In fact, it looked like a hell of a lot of fun! So i played the demo, and i wasn't disappointed.
Although it may seem like a stupid little game, LEGO Star Wars is REALLY fun! There are a wide range of players, all with different skills. You can play in Story mode and battle your way through episodes I, II and III! In Free mode you can switch between characters while playing a level to take advantage of their skills. (Yoda is my favourite! )
But there are other objectives. In each level there are 10 canisters you can collect. Get all 10 and you get a vehicle! There are also little lego pieces called 'studs' and they act like money when buying new characters at Dexter's Diner.
Dexter's Diner is like a meeting spot for all your characters, outside is a large garage where all your vehicles are stored. Characters wonder around and even fight each other, much to your amusement! You can also play cooperative with 2 players, and by doing so you can do new things not possible when playing by yourself.
All in all, LEGO Star Wars is a great game...It's like regressing back into childhood, but more fun! I don't regret buying it, you probably won't too! It's a great game, no matter how wussy the content! And you're guaranteed to have a whole lot of fun playing it!
