Hitman: Codename 47

If you ever wanted to be a Hitman, an assassin who would be hired by people to do some cool and stylish executions of unsuspecting victims around the world, but holding yourself back because of the illegality of it all, then this might just be the game that you are looking for. If you like stealthy games but are tired of the slow nature of game-play of games like Splinter Cell, and wished for a stealthy game with a bit more of action thrown in, then Hitman: Codename 47 will definitely delight you. That is, if you don't mind some of the most frustrating features of this game.

47, a bald and ugly man with a digitally encrypted pin code tattooed onto the back of his head, is the protagonist of the game. One may wonder what kind of a name 47 is, but there's a pretty good and weird reason for it. The game doesn't have a run-of-mill storyline, nor is it the kind of path-breaking story in contention for an Oscar!!! It has a pretty weird (read freaky) story which may just take...

THE GOOD:
The graphics, the AI, the difficulty, the sound.

THE BAD:
The interface is a bit tricky.

SUMMARY:
All in all, a great game. While, the complex interface can be difficult at times, with a little practice, it becomes much easier. And although some complain about the lack of a mid-level save feature, I thought it just added to the game's addictiveness.

The game's two greatest attributes are the missions' complexity and the unpredictable, but nevertheless lifelike, AI.

One thing I haven't seen anyone comment about, however, is the myriad of movie references in the game. Look at the main room of the drug lord's mansion. Look familiar? It should . . . it's a low-rent version of Tony Montana's house in Scarface. And the key to completing one of the early Hong Kong missions can be found in The Godfather.

Played in the third person. feels odd hovering over someones head.

Got the game free when I upgraded my comp. I had seen the game in best buy
a few times and contomplated buying it before.i've been kicking my self since
the first level that i didn't buy it earlyer. it's similar to half-life minus the first
person aspect. i love the difficulty and the fact that i can stand in a group
of "bad guys" unnoticed for litteraly hours. then pull out a gun and let the
blood flow

I like the game a lot... Because you can go around and just kill whoever u see witch is fun when you get all tence from playing because sometimes i get a bit shakey

The frustration that has come with the inability to save that game at any point needed.

SUMMARY:
The sound, graphics, and the textile feel of the game is exelent. After playing the game, I wanted to become a Hitman. The game raps you up into a little world, and when the time comes to poisen/bomb/snipe the target nothing counts except the mission.

THE GOOD:
It's fun for the killings...

It has a bug in it, sometimes when you're playing for a long time, your mouse will suddenly do not work....
You can't save your game in it

SUMMARY:
It only has 12 levels, not very fun at all..too quick to finish the game....
