THE GOOD: Nothing, except jellybeansTHE BAD: everything, evcept jjellybeans SUMMARY: well, well, well, this game, to be honest, sucks, it is shorter than the first one, and it is really hard to follow, it gets harder in the game, and beating that giant snake is a breeze.
i do not recommend thus game to anyone, except for potter fans who want their computer stuffed up by the game screen.
this game is so not worth your money, aand it costs a heap to buy it too.
its as bad as the book and text, actually worse. |

Good As a Book, Just Not Very Good As a Game | 2.0 0 comments |
by InvaderHera from , , | Aug 15, 2004 |
THE GOOD: I guess the graphics are okay and the voices. It was kind of fun. It was challenging.THE BAD: It was really odd. I played it a year or two ago, and I never will again, unless I'm really, really bored. I know I said the voices were okay, but they really annoyed me anyway. SUMMARY: This was the first computer game I've ever played and also the last. It was kind of boring, but I was bored when I played it, so it gave me something to do. I liked the Gamecube version better, but that wasn't much better, either. It seems that games that come from books or movies aren't usually very good, and that's sad, since I really liked the book. *shrug* Oh, well. When it comes to Harry Potter, I'll just stick with the books. The only part I liked was fighting the basilisk; the rest was boring and weird. |

This game relates to it's predecessor in two ways: -It is Harry Potter -It isn't all that good
Neither of the Harry Potter games have been all that good, in my opinion. I haven't been impressed at all by either, partly because of the over-expanded media flow of Harry Potter. These games are too hyped up and have difficulty tying into the book and movie versions. Far too too limited as well, in my opinion. I really don't reccomend this game, or any Harry Potter game up until now. The square face element being removed did brighten my hopes up a bit. Made me think the producers were shping things up a bit, hearing our cries. |

THE GOOD: Improvement from the first.THE BAD: Still pretty short, but its better. SUMMARY: Ain't that great, but it's fun. The beginning is a bit lame, going around getting your stuff, but it gets better. It's like the book, and you get to meet more characters. I think it's a okay game to get, but I suggest passing it up, or maybe it's just me. I'm not really a fan of the Harry Potter games, but if you want to get it, go ahead. It's a big improvement from the other one. It gets the 3 out of 5. |

THE GOOD: Nice graphics, great improvments compared to Harry Potter 1.THE BAD: It is still the same as Harry Potter 1, only improved. It's not very difficult to complete. SUMMARY: 3rd person action adventure, it is a good game for many different ages. When you're a Harry Potter fan it is really a good game, and as for the others, start love Harry Potter. It is not very difficult to complete. |

THE GOOD: The best is clearly obvious. Some other good parts were the storyline.THE BAD: Easy. Way to easy to beat, and the end was easier than some of the opther challenges. SUMMARY: The storyline on the graphics were the two big things the comepany must have worked on this one to improve considering how I though the first game to be a failure. This book was better in my opinion, so that's most likely why I liked the game more. |

THE GOOD: The game is more elaborated then the last one (Sorcerer's Stone), have better graphics and more levels, with new spells. The minigames (Quidditch Cup and Dueling Club) are also very interesting too.THE BAD: First of all, the savegame sucks! You can't save in different slots while you progress and if you make anything wrong (what is possible, believe me) you are not able to get back and fix it. The constant game loading is boring and the game is too long with some crucial differences between the story of the book/movie. SUMMARY: The overall quality improved since the last version. The cards quest (bronze, silver and gold cards) makes you explore the scenarios very carefully and for the very curious ones (like me) may become the main challenge of the game. The way you learn the spells is better in this version of the game rather than the last one and the spells challenge are great fun. Some elements of the game are new too, like the bonus bean room and the trading system. These are improvements that add more objectives to the game. The story is not exactly the same as the book, don't expect that! But you'll find that is well adapted to the game situation. |

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets | 5.0 0 comments |

THE GOOD: Pros: Lots more Wizard Cards of different colors like Red (more common), Silver (rare), and Gold (impossibly ultra rare). These cards could boost and add Harry's stamina, which is in the shape of a lightning bolt. Colllecting them could earn Harry six stamina bars maximum to defeat the basilsik and the giant spiders later in the game. Another is the Nimbus 2000 Broomstick that you could win in Quiditch practice to explore the outside of Hogwarts. In this game, you could duel students using wands and trade items like Wizard Cards, Wiggentree Bark, Nimbus 2000, etc. with your colleagues. The graphics are excellent and it is more difficult with more enemies, spells to learn (like Expelliarmus and Skurge) and tons of adventure. Definitely deserves the perfect score.THE BAD: Cons: VERY LONG TIME TO BEAT GAME. Took me 3 hours to beat only one challenge. SUMMARY: The best game to be released this year. All thumbs up! (Too bad I only have two). |
