"This game has all of the marks off a true classic if you can just get past its shortcomings, which are rather easy to overlook, if you try."
"Devil's Bridge easily becomes one of the best looking products on the market. Newly polished graphics, enhanced realism, and more complex missions may limit the Devil's Bridge audience, but if you like squad-based action games and are looking for the ultimate in realistic combat, you should not hesitate to pick this one up, as it will not disappoint."

"It will take a special kind of Hidden & Dangerous fan to overlook these issues and enjoy this add-on. There isn’t much to enjoy, which is a shame given the great promise that a game like this one could offer."

"If you were hoping Devil's Bridge would improve on the number of bugs found in the original Hidden & Dangerous, I'm afraid you'll be disappointed. As an expansion pack, Devil's Bridge has the quantity but the quality is completely lacking. It fails to deliver a bug-free gaming experience and remains far too unstable. I guess we'll have to wait for Hidden & Dangerous 2 and hope by then they'll have worked everything out."

"I don't pretend that HD:DB doesn't contain everything that made the original great and isn't probably a great game on the right computer system. Perhaps if I wasn't on a PII-400 I wouldn't have noticed. But unless you have a system that's going to smooth out the rough edges in this package by sheer processing power, you're probably better off just remembering how much you loved Hidden & Dangerous and waiting for Hidden & Dangerous 2."
