THE BAD: Textures often take a couple of seconds too late to draw, when driving a fast car.
SUMMARY: Grand Theft Auto franchise, a series marred by controversies for its violent content right from the day of its instigation, has been perhaps one of the most successful series ever to have been made. Though heavily criticized by the non-gaming community, it has been blessed with one of the most frenetic fan-following in gaming history. GTA lll is the first Grand Theft Auto game made in 3d. Being a new-comer to the series, here's my take on the most controversial game franchise.
GTA lll for the PC is a direct port of the Playstation 2 version, with a couple of new features thrown in for pc gamers. However, these new features are few, but who wants more when you have a great game to play!!!

THE GOOD: The graphics, the radio stations, the cars, the gangs, the story lines.
THE BAD: There's not a thing I could find wrong with this game.
SUMMARY: This has got to be the best improvement in the GTA range, as the graphics is very detailed. The missions on this game are very challenging, and can be completed in various different ways. The gangs are also pretty good especially with their each individual cars. The weapons just rock, as do the radio stations, and the controls for the vehicles are so easy to use. There are many ramps that can be used to perform crazy stunts, in which you can get special bonuses for them. I would defiantly suggest that this is a good buy for any one who owns a PS2, and if you like car games like driver and other rebellious games.

THE BAD: nothing
SUMMARY: This one of the best games ever made. You play as a guy in Liberty City who is just trying to stay alive. You start off by getting betrayed and left to die. You live and then break out of prison. You have to work from the ground up doing jobs for mob bosses andsimple stuff like that. As the story progresses you do move up in the mafia ranks, work for other gangs, create gang wars and normal stuff like that.
The game as several weapons that you can use such as the M-16, AK-47, Colt 9mm, Flamethrower. There are dozens and dozens of cars that you can drive and depending on where you are in the city you can find different types.
The city has three islands and each one will become accesible to you as you progrees through the game.

SUMMARY: Yes people, this is it. GTAIII. There have been many not so successful knock-offs of this game (State of Emergency...). But this, this is the one.
GTAIII takes place in Liberty City. But anyway everything about the game is quite accurate. The cars, the weapons, and the general aura of the city is definately the real NYC or Los Angeles type of feel. I don't know what else I can say about this game, it is a godsend. And it also gives adults something to lobby against....
Well, faboulus Game that is on 3 platforms. If you don't have either of the two consoles get the one for the PC, but I wouldn'y bother wasting $50 on something that I already have. If you can't wait for the Xbox version, sure, get this one, but if you can be patient wait for that one!
THE GOOD: -Lots of fun -Downloadable skins! -A lot of plug-ins to keep you playing -A lot of missions -Funny radio stations -Lots of weapons -Nice graphics for it's age -Wow! You can set the control style to classic so you can play the game with PS2 version controls. Allows you to use the targeting sytem instead of using mouse aim! -Nice sounds, but the pedistrian(sp?)voices still need some work. -Driveby shooting! A good way to kill without getting out of the car.
THE BAD: -No multiplayer! Luckily, a group of people made -Not much interior cells, like in GTA:VC. -Should be able to shoot threw cars, like shooting the driver. -Can't jump out of a moving car.
SUMMARY: It's one of the best games. It's a must have. I love doing driveby shootings. I also recommend GTA:VC. They're both amazing. It's banned in some countries. That bites, sooo. Try buying it in Ebay
First things first, this game is full of gratuitous violence, criminal undertakings, murderous intentions and glorious excitement. If, frankly, you don't like the above stay clear of this game, its not your cup of tea, don't tell us how bad it is, don't tell us its evil. Its not, would you rather us have a shootout in a real or fantasy world. This game is fairly unrealistic but realistic games are, lets face it, boring. There are around 80 cars ranging from the awesomely quick Infernus, to the classy Limo, to the heavy duty Flatbed truck, to the infamous Rhino tank. The missions range from being the simple chaffeur to the complicated assassination of the Mafia leader as the game progresses. THE GOOD: There are many ways to think of some Custom missions and almost all the gangs hate you so you can have fights unlike GTA:Vice City.
THE BAD: No Helicopters,Motorcycles,The hands look like tennis balls,sucky MUSIC radio stations(but Chatterbox 105 is awesome.
SUMMARY: When I first bought this game I was addicted to it,I'm just a little dissapointed that there where no motorbikes(GTA1 had them why not GTA3).But forutunately this game takes place in 2001(I think).I had never played any games like this.But it isn't as perfect as I say it is there are a few things like a little graphics detail that is bad,you can only have six cars to keep(1 in a garage,2 in another and 3 in another).But if you buy this game you will be far from dissapointed.So if you have'nt bought or even rented this game go out and get a copy now,if you want to know how much it cost it is $59.99(in America).

SUMMARY: This is a brilliant game, the way that the whole city is at your disposal is an excellent idea, this game simply takes the piss out of GTA and GTA2, firstly, this game is 3-D so there's no horrible aerial view. The game itself is excellent, apart from that the cops don't arrest anyone but you, e.g a gangster starts shooting you with a shotgun infront of a cop and the cop doesn't care but if you do so much as hit the gangster the cop will come after you. Citywise, I do think that this game is better than vice city. But unfortunately this game doesn't have helicopters or bikes. SUMMARY: truely, as my "the good" segment says, there are many incredible things about this game. i love the amount of freedome you have in the game. this is definitally a game where the good outweighs te bad. and even still, you can get a mod to produce motercycles, so there really isn't anything bad about the game!
THE GOOD: Still is a great game. In many ways, better that GTA:VC. It will always have its goods and bads.
THE BAD: No helicopters and motorbikes.
SUMMARY: This will always be one of my favorite games! I spent tons of hours playing it and trying to find new things. I love the city and how well it was layed out. I just don't like the fact that helicopters and motorbikes were included. If they were...the game would be perfect! Vehicle wise atleast. Great game that I will always keep.
