Background
With the majority of humanity decimated by the Shiva plague and an ensuing nuclear holocaust, civilization hovers on the brink of extinction. The year is 2156. As one of the last remaining habitable areas, the Grand Canyon Province is home to six factions fighting for control of the Fallen Earth. Some fight for the remnants of the world they used to know, while others garner hope of a peaceful civilization to come. With more than 1,000 square kilometers of landscape, you hunt scrap metal and recycled parts to craft the thousands of items you’ll need to survive. Embroiled in a fight for your life, you’re battling the environment and others who need the same resources as you. You trade with others for food, weapons, technology and protection. And the missions you choose make you who you are—will you ally with a faction or rally against it?
Game Play
Outside the protective confines of the Hoover Dam Garrison, the player will encounter ruins of the old world, genetically-altered creatures, strange technology, and six warring factions. Some factions seek to rebuild the old world, others wish to build a new one in their own image, and some simply desire chaos and anarchy. The game is set in the Grand Canyon Province, a 7,000 square-kilometer area surrounding the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam.[4] The environment is zoneless and set in sectors which can be advanced through at the players own pace, each of which continue the story-arc of the game.
Features
Among its features are first-person and third-person views, classless system, Player-versus-Player combat, and crafting.
