PC  Extreme Warfare Revenge 5.0

THE GOOD:
- Easy to learn and play
- Realism
- Free
- Customization
- You control everything

THE BAD:
- Segment Limits
- No Sound

SUMMARY:
Extreme Warfare Revenge is the game for any wrestling fan who has watched a show and gone "I can do that better". If you are one of those people then this is the game for you as you can take control of the worlds largest (and even the smallest) wrestling companies and run the company the way you think it should be.

The games concept is simple. Take control of a wrestling company and make it bigger and better by booking the shows and controlling things behind the scenes. In order for your empire to grow you must provide an entertaining show while not spending too much money on expensive superstars until you can afford it.

The realism in this game is great. If you book somebody like The Big Show against Spike Dudley the match rating won't be as impressive as a Kurt Angle vs Chris Benoit match. In order to put together an entertaining show you have to think about who works well with each other. Bear in mind that plain violence may win you ratings in the short run but you will end up with an unhappy injured locker room.

Customization is another great thing about this game. Everything is customizable, wrestlers, TV networks, finishing moves, title belts. You really can change absolutely everything in this game; you can even create your own companies and wrestlers. This is a great thing for keeping your game up to date, if something changes in real life, you can change it in the game with no hassles.

In the world of wrestling many things change regularly. EWR accommodates for this. You are able to download roster updates that will update all of the information in the games database. This makes it easy to keep your game up to date without having to change everything yourself.

Some updates are based on previous years in the industry or even fantasy scenarios, this opens up a world of options. You can relive the attitude era or try and make ECW become the dominant company. You can even find scenarios which has all of the McMahon’s owning a different company and fighting amongst each other to become the best in the business.

This games one downside is the limit of segments you can have in one show. In companies like WWE it is hard to use all of the superstars you would like to. A maximum of 11 segments are available to you if you have a prime time TV slot, other time slots have less segment slots available. This is where TEW (Total Extreme Warfare) gets an advantage as that game allows you to choose how long each segment will last for.

The absence of sound in this game is only a down side if you don't listen to music on your computer. Just have iTunes or Media Player running while you play and enjoy the game while listening to your own music.

EWR has everything you want, thousands of real wrestlers, up to 35 companies at once in the game and you behind one company trying to kill off your competition and become the dominant force in the wrestling industry. Everything is in your hands. The fact that this game is free only makes it that much better.

PC  Great Wrestling Simulator 4.8

THE GOOD:
-easy to play
-you control EVERYTHING
-takes some skill
-have to manage money, talent, etc.
-FREE

THE BAD:
-no sound
-no graphics

SUMMARY:
This game is a great wrestling simulator. You become the owner of a federation of your choice, where from there you control everything. Ticket prices, who faces who on what show, who you hire, who you fire, and much much more. You also have to keep everyone happy, which adds onto the skill level of the game. There also might be another federation that is beating you in ratings, but your goal is to become the best federation out there. You can also decide who your champions are and what feuds you want.

You also have to manage your money, so you shouldn't go on a spending spree signing a bunch of guys to million dollar contracts. It is good to hire decent workers so that you're ratings go up and the crowd stays tuned to the show. You gain money from your shows. You also gain exposure for your federation as you go on in the game.

I really enjoy playing this game, and I like the challenge that it brings. I really recommend that you download this game if you are a wrestling fan.

THE GOOD:
-You control it all!
-Easy to play
-Many Wrestlers
-Make your own Federation
-Very Realistic
-Add your own graphics into the game!

THE BAD:
-No Sound
-Boring Graphics at the start

SUMMARY:
This is a great game considering it was free! This game allows you to become the Booker of a promotion and take that promotion to the top and become the number 1 Promotion in North America! This game allows you to put pictures for wrestlers into the game and also put your own graphics in the game as well! The Internet on the game shows you good wrestlers and some fake info that doesn't help you in the game at all just to make it more realistic. EWR also allows you to download Scenerios to allow you to play in different eras! Wheather you want to play a 2000 Scenerio, A 1995 Scenerio or a 1987 Scenerio they have it! This game is pretty addictive and it is fun to play. You could play this for hours and not get bored. The only problem with this game is the fact that it has no sound. Make your favourite wrestler world champion! ever wanted to make Carlito Carribean Cool the WWE Champion or Abyss NWA World Champion, well you can! You control it all! Its up to you what you do with the game! This is great game and worth a 4.7/5!

THE GOOD:
You control EVERYTHING!
Very realistic.
Play with your favorite promotion!
You can download scenario and roster updates. (i.e. - WCW/ECW Invasion)
Easy gameplay. (Much easier and funner than TEW)
Hours of fun!

SUMMARY:
In this game, you can play as any promotion you want! WWE, NWA:TNA, NWA:Wildside, ECCW, 3PW, anything! The best part about this game, is that you can download roster updates and different scenarios. If you want to play the 1995 WWF scenario... you can! They have any scenario... even ones for Pokemon!

You can goto war with other promotions, too. You can steal other workers, start feuds, make titles, etc.!

If you own an e-fed, you can even make that more realistic by playing it on EWR! Everything in EWR is easy to play and understand, unlike in Adam's TEW where everything is so complexed and confusing.

The best part, is that everything is FREE! In my opinion, EWR is the greatest wrestling simulation out there. Better than TEW, better than WreSpi, anything!

THE GOOD:
- Addictive
- Realistic
- You control everything!
- Great for such a simple game

THE BAD:
- Sound
- Graphics
- Slow at times

SUMMARY:
A while back I downloaded Total Extreme Wrestling. It wasn't that bad, but it got 'Extremely' boring after a while, so I uninstalled it. A few months later I found the forum for Extreme Warfare Revenge, and thought I would give this a go. Turns out, this game is brilliant.

You see, this game is about as simple as a game can be. You just choose a Name, Difficulty Level, Promotion and bang, your in control! You get to choose what to do with your promotion, whether it be realistic, to compile a diary, or just to see some great matches of your choice.

When I say, see, I mean read. It is all about words in this game, no sounds, no amazing graphics, just words. But there isn't anything wrong with that, and there isnt really much else to do. Sure the match reports aren't top notch, but they are still good.

You create a match, and then you start the show, you see how well you do and you watch the cash pile up. You can buy more for your roster, you can even attempt to buy out other promotions, the choices are endless.

But, a bit of advice. If you are just bored and feel you want to give this a try, I would only reccomend this to Wrestling Fans and Fanatics. You see it is very much based upon real life. Real wrestlers, real promotions. If you just want to play again and youre not that keen on wrestling then dont waste your time. But for those of you who are obsessed with wrestling, start the download fool!

PC  A few years old and still the best wrestling company management game 5.0

THE GOOD:
Easy show booking system
Default rosters include almost every big name wrestler (even though they are from the middle of 03)
The ability to run backyard companies
If you are a wrestling fan, you have wanted it for years
Simple Contract System
Great for people who want to write their own shows because it gives you things like ratings, making your job easier than it is on traditional "Book It" sites.

THE BAD:
Unable to control companies outside of US, Canada or Mexico
Some excessively sized data files (in particular RXEWR) can crash this game

SUMMARY:
EWR is one of the best games ever made. The great thing about it is that it was made prior to WWE threatening lawsuits on those who use WWE wrestler names for any game (even if it is free). That means that this is the most recent game where the default rosters will contain WWE wrestlers and this will probably always remain so. In the default rosters, WWE, TNA, ROH, CZW, XPW, MLW and 13 other feds from around 03 are included.

EWR is very versatile. It can be used to create worlds with game characters, movie stars, politicians, comic book characters or completely made up characters as wrestlers. It is possible with a trip to geocities.com/kempo810 or geocities.com/ewrdownloads to get just about any year since the first Wrestlemania. That means that you can build the WWF in 1992 around Ric Flair or try to turn the Brooklyn Brawler into a WWF Champion. The possibilities are endless.

THE GOOD:
Everything about this game is good you are in total control of your own wrestling federation.

THE BAD:
The limit to how many segements you can make per show but it is only a minor thing

SUMMARY:
This game reek's of awsomeness. You can take control of your favourite wrestling fed and you decide what happens you make the matches , you sign new talent , you make the champions , you can fire anyone you don't want or need , you can create your own storylines , make fueds with wrestlers that wouldn't be able to on TV , you need to keep your fed at the top or bring your fed to the top.

There so many things to do in this game it will keep you occupied for hours on end and you'll never get bored. And to make it a little interesting you can create yourself and see how you'd perform against the worlds top wrestlers

If you enjoy wrestling and would love to be in control of the WWE or any fed then this game is right for you.

THE GOOD:
Create your own Federation, take it through good times and bad. You can also create your very own scenarios with whoever in the whole DAMN WRESTLING INDUSTRY! From WWE to Retired workers, you can find almost everybody who has been active in the last 8 years! It is absolutely incredible to say the least. You can spark feuds, decide how it is going to go and such. you basically have total control. Also real-life hazards do indeed happen such as Injuries and Problems.

THE BAD:
The only big thing that gripes me is the inability to edit your company's settings in mid game, and the fact that you may only have 3 TV Spots. Also things can get bleak with the occasional stupid bulletin.

SUMMARY:
This game is one of a kind. It isn't confronted by any and shaken by none. I don't think there will ever be a game such as this in a lifetime. It is so deep and immense, it is guranteed to keep your interest no matter what level you are of wrestling. If you hate it stay away. If you even like wrestling the slightest bit I recommend you get this immidiately. It is free for download, and is addictive.

Taken bri89's review, Sold is alternate account.

If you've ever sat back, watched wrestling on TV and thought that you didn't like the way things are - You thought that someone else deserved that title shot, you thought it should have been a table match, you thought they picked the wrong guy to win a match - then this is the game for you.

You control a wrestling federation in every way, signings, firings, wins, losses, title runs, angles, interviews, match types, sponsors, development territories, incidents with your workers, announcers, referees, bookers. You name it, it's in here. From the lowliest backyard fed to the global giant that is the WWE, they're all here for you to challenge the world as.

Simply an awesome game, the best that money *can't* buy. I heartily reccomend this game to anyone who has ever done any "armchair booking".
