THE GOOD:
Good return of an old game idea, especially for all the 80īs arcade generation of gamers which will soon get into a "RETRO MOOD".
Good control with the mouse and after remapping the keyboard.
Nice Graphics in typical Dragonīs Lair style, good soundworks and music aswell as voice acting (very genuine). Addictive! -Just one more room....
Nice plot in the storyline as the game goes on!THE BAD:
A bit to Easy.
Original death scenes of Dirk dying are reduced to one standard scene, PITTY! -Since they were realy funny!
Needs at least a 3 button mouse to be played properly. SUMMARY:
This game is recommended to everyone who was standing in a queue to play the 80īs original laserdisc arcade game. Good job done converting the old game into an 3D invironment. Nice voice work done (sounds like the original voices from the 80īs), music is very good and fits the game, original score used very well.
Graphics are very good, keeping the original concept alive which made -and still makes Dragonīs Lair what it is, a unique game with itīs genuine "comic style".
The quicksave -quickload feature is very useful especialy since itīs used alot.
Game saves, loads immediately after pressing the regarding button, which helps the game not to get anoying at times.
Riddles are to easy for experienced gamers, game never getīs to hard, no unfair places within the game.
All in all I do recommend this game to everyone who likes platforms with any restriction of players age! |

THE GOOD:
Best Come-back of any classic game ever. The only game where cel-shading is done the way it should be.THE BAD:
Waiting 20 years to fight the dragon with full control. SUMMARY:
I don't really like 3rd-person games. The only I found so far is Tomb Raider and Max Payne, but now with dragons lair 3d... well... lets just say that this is a game you must own.
For the adults: remember the old levels from the very first DL??? There here again and without dissapointment. This is a must have reguardless what system you own... I'm running on a PC and.. WOW!!! You must have this game.
For the Kids: Read above.... Now, since you've sort of have a small taste of the crowd that is so wild about this game, you really should look into this. It's the classic tale of a Knight trying to rescue the princess from an evil dragon and then an evil wizard. Sound simple?? The concept is, but unlike any game you've ever played, this one was fully intended to be played like a movie but with full control. You must play this game or otherwise you'll miss out on a real experience that is worth years of story-telling and awe.
One of the very few games that is worth the money I paid and even more.... unlike other games on the market today. |

Killer game play, action, action, action.THE BAD:
The princess your saving turns out to be a big slut in the end, having been railed numerious times by the dragon. SUMMARY:
Fun game with tons of action. If your a fan of these types of games, then this one is a must buy! I still didn't like how the princess turns out to be a whore in the end, selling out to the dragon. If I wanted to see this I would have played PornStar 3D. Also go out and check out the movie trailer for this game, it looks awsome (just incase your not sure on buying it first). |
