"The bottom line is that everyone should get this game and enjoy it. As I mentioned above, it’s definitely my game of the year at this point. Nothing else even comes close to the fun and enjoyment I’ve gotten out of Dungeon Keeper 2 so far."
"In the end, though, these complaints amount to no more than imp gibberish. DK2’s excellences far outstrip its considerably minor defects. In addition to the improvements in graphics, sound and gameplay enumerated above, DK2 supplements these major innovations with considerable and subtle enhancements. In particular, the ability to form a groups in first person adds a new dimension to gameplay."
"When DK was released it was an instant hit but it lacked proper graphics. A patch was then released but still the graphics weren't good enough. Bullfrog has learned from their mistake and now DK2 is an extremely good-looking game. But Dungeon Keeper's graphics have two flaws. First, the maximum resolution is 800x600 and finally, 16-Bit colour. Dungeon Keeper 2 uses 16-Bit colour the smoke effect in the main menu is AWFUL! DK2 could seriously use 32-Bit colour rendering"
"Good sound, good graphics, and evil game play make Dungeon Keeper II a good game with lots of evil intent. If you ever wanted to be the bad guy, here is your chance. If you're into real-time strategy games, you can't go wrong with Dungeon Keeper II, but you may enjoy Starcraft more with it's more straight forward play. If you're not into RTS games, stay away from Dungeon Keeper II, the play will not appeal to you. Dungeon Keeper II offers dark humor, interesting play, and plenty of visual and aural sensations to keep gamers happy."

"Spells, traps and doors are still in play as well for your combating pleasure, but doors may no longer be stored until needed which doesn't bode too well, if you ask me. New additions to the other two areas are rather promising, however, with a tremor spell looking set to shake things up a bit and a 'turncoat' spell resulting in traitorous fun within enemy ranks. Here's what Nick had to say on the new spells: "[The]Tremor (Spell)… The purpose of Tremor is sabotage and disruption. It carries a high fear rating, scattering friends and enemies alike, while weakening the enemy's dungeon fortifications. It is not intended to be a major killer, although it will spread damage to significantly weaken a large force when used cleverly and at the optimum time." Moving on, he mentions "[the] Inferno Spell."
