SUMMARY:
Welcome to Toontown Online, a world of cartoony firgures and wacky buildings. Customization of the toons are limited but fun - many colors and characters and clothes. Customization of houses are endless, with the Cattlelog coming in every month, although houses are relitively small. With almost 1.2 million users a day, there are many people to choose when it comes to making friends. Due to internet safety, Disney has created a seperate chat function called the True Friend function. This is where, with parent permission, you get a code called a true friend code, always starting with a TT. You must copy this number and trade with someone else in the real world that has a toon and a true friend code. This way, you can talk privately and freely. And I mean privately by censoring the words with sounds the animal you chose make. The only one that can understand you is your true friend. To others, all you guys are saying is 'meow mew meow meow mew mew mew meow'. Sometimes this can get annoying because most people talk at 120 mph just to annoy other toons. Battling Cogs is the main objective in this game. You use gags to fight cogs and complete special toontasks you acquire at Head Quarters, located on every street in toontown. You're objective is lto protect Toontown by fighting the evil Cogs that seem to appear somewhere else in toontown whenever you beat a bunch. Main theme - this game is endless. Being a toon is hard! You can also fish and trade in new species for jellybeans to buy gags to fight cogs. Also you can race to a chieve tickets to buy new accecories for your car at Goofy's Speedway to race again and get mmore tickets to get new carts and more accecories. Classic Disney characters like Goofy, Daffy, Daisy and of coure - Mickey Mouse - have thier own playgrounds and walk around thier playground saying phrases like - 'Nice to see you, cool mouse!' or 'I was fighting a lot of cogs earlier today'. The major characters seem to have minimized! One thing about this game - GLITCHES ARE EVERYWHERE! You can't go one day without finding a major glitch in the game. Some are for escaping your house to expand your furniture space and floating to the top of the world with other toons. The developers were so lazy that sometimes they forget to make walls solid! ~ Overall, I give this game a 2 1/2 out of 5 stars.
